Every bit the traditional community pub that it’s billed as, The Artichoke serves the Northamptonshire village of Moulton well. Located in a handsome 17th-century sandstone-brick building along Church Street, indeed just down the road from the landmark of Moulton’s St Peter & St Paul Church, The Artichoke’s L-shaped premises offer a cosy interior, a spacious and secluded beer garden, and ample parking facilities. This historic British pub was sensitively renovated in the 1980s, and now has some of the best beer in the cellar this side of Northampton and a restaurant serving robust pub grub and classic dishes made using ingredients sourced from local vegetable farmers, butchers and so on.
