About The Ballroom
The Ballroom is one of Cheltenham and Montpellier’s most prominent Bangladeshi and South Asian restaurant, whose superb premises in Bayhill Lodge down Montpellier Street, at the junction with Parabola Road, function as restaurant, wine bar, coffee lounge, party and function venue. The kitchen is headed up by chef Mozlu Miha, who has crafted an a la carte menu that takes traditional Bangladeshi and Bengali-Indian cuisine and gives it a contemporary update to suit the modern palate. His personal recommendation for when you choose to dine at The Ballroom is the lamb shaktora, which cooks lambs with the shaktora citrus fruit that imparts a sweet and sour flavour to this medium spicy Syhleti dish. Prime location and a superlative offering combine to make The Ballroom a popular restaurant that demands an advance reservation.

Fantastic food served up by very attentive and polite members of staff. Would recommend to all. They have a wide range of different dishes. Give it a try.
Excellent menu, plenty to choose from. Staff very professional and courteous, service excellent. Food hot and very tasty. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you and hope to visit and taste the delicious food again.
The service was excellent. The food was the best 'Indian' I have ever eaten. I'm not sure what the building was before it was The Ballroom but what beautiful surroundings to enjoy a meal out. Superb. We will be back 👍
Amazing food serviced in great time considering it was extremely busy... Staff are always friendly and professional, prices are just right for quality...Our favourite Idian restaurant
One of the best indian restaurant in cheltenham . Love the restaurant and food is defrand music defrent food wine are specialists dafantey see you son. Evry one should tary this place.
Wonderful food and friendly efficient staff. We had a lovely evening and will go back. We took members of our family who were also very impressed. They too will go back.
Beautiful building, but disappointing over all. It's not that the food was bad, it was just dull - not enough spice and in one or two dishes quite overcooked. Service wasn't great: they tried to rush us into ordering but then took ages to bring food! So, not an unpleasant evening, but there are better Indian restaurants in Cheltenham.
Very attentive staff, good, interesting dishes. Good surroundings in popular restaurant area of Cheltenham. Would recommend this restaurant to singles, couples and families with teenage kids
Our food was really tasty but I didn't think that 2 prawns in a main course dish was sufficient. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful building but it can get very noisy. Our servers were very attentive.
The food here is very good, the building is beautiful but the service is quirky and entertaining. They do try to please but there is a bit of a language barrier!
The main course was actually quite tasty, good man bread although the rice was a tad on the cold side! The service was poor from all the staff!
Staff very pushy and not a great choice of dishes. To be honest food was rather dissapointing as my partner had a chicken tikka madras which was not anything like a madras! Will not be in a rush to eat here again.
poor service. we had to keep asking for some water. it was very cramped and noisy. certain spices in the curry were too overpowering not subtle at all.
