Great food and great service can’t ask for more in my mind

Very nice restaurant. Welcome and service very good. The meal was nice. However, my sweet was disappointing. The reason for this was the sweet was described as a pavlova but in truth it was a cheap meringue nest with a little cream and a scoop of ice cream and fruit. For the price and the general standard of the restaurant, I would have expected a true pavlova.

This was our first visit and we will be back. Great food and service.

Clean plates at the end of each course tells you everything. Will definitely return.

Excellent food as always. Being a Sunday evening the restaurant was quiet which probably contributed to a quiet atmosphere. If I was to make a criticism it would be that both my wife and I had a bigger plateful than we could manage, but to balance that they gave us the left-overs in a 'doggy bag'! Definitely recommend if you want a meal for a special occasion.

A beautiful lunch was had by both of us at The Barony. The two course lunch menu had a range of lovely options but we both went for the fish pie, delicately presented in a shell. It was delicious. For dessert, my friend was hoping for the lovely poached pear in chocolate but it wasn’t on the menu so we went for the lemon posset. A lovely little gem of a place in Biggar!

We had a wonderful family meal. Food was excellent and the staff very attentive. Would reccomend Thursday steak night.
