Awful experience, shocking service , food orders were wrong, glasses were filthy. Took over 1 hour to get our mains with no explanation & despite the fact the pub wasn't very busy. Very disappointing, would not return here.

The Bell is our local we go there about once a week. The food is generally good, but the service is a bit hit or miss. On our last visit we were shown to our table and waited 20 mins before we were offered a drink in the end my husband when to the bar and asked someone to take our order. The toilets need a revamp. But the pubs in Hampton are rubbish The Bell is by far the best. Some times it's a bit noisy with young children running about and that's been ion a week day!

We have eaten there many times before and its a lovely pub all year round. The food was good and were served quickly. It was a late booking so we didn't have time for the puddings sadly even though the waitress showed us the menus. We will book earlier next time.

Lovely, cosy pub overlooking the river. Great service and delicious food! Very accommodating with my two year old who insisted on sitting at the bar! Would benefit from one or two log fires.

Excellent Sunday roast in lovely location by the river. Will go back on a different day to try more extensive non-sunday menu. Good children's menu too.

The Bell Inn has a very good casual atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. Have eaten there twice in 5 weeks and the menu was the same so limited choice if you are frequent. Also limited wine choice. However, food was good, plentiful and well presented.

easy booking; friendly welcome; OK table; good service; meals a little "solid" but it is a gastro pub. The menu was a bit limited for such a busy pub.

Extremely disappointing. The restaurant service and food were not anywhere near as good as they were during my last visit 2 years ago. I doubt i will visit again.

Excellent meal on a Friday evening. Pub was very busy (a good sign) but the food arrived in a reasonable time and was very tasty and well presented. I can recommend the ribs! Staff were very friendly.

Three women of a certain age - yes, ladies who lunch - decided to try the Lunch Club deal. Good value at £9. 95 each including a main course, drink (including a glass of wine or a pint of beer). Two of us ate the gigantic fish and chips and report that the fish in enormous batter wedge was slightly undercooked, but nevertheless delicious and the chips were hot, crispy and perfect. The third of us had a warm chicken and chirizo salad which was rather greasy and did not contain all the ingredients stated (e.g. no new potatoes). Service was cheerful, pub was very busy so we had to hurry them up to get our order, but staff were trying hard and we would go again for the value (under £10 each with a very nice cold wine spritzer included) See you soon.

Always friendly, professional and welcoming. Lovely choice of reasonably priced wine and great pub food - unfussy, tasty and lovingly prepared. Lively atmosphere with range of different customers where you can enjoy privacy or sociability as you wish.

We had the Sunday roasts and they were disappointing. the lamb in particular was dry and tough. Iy looked liked it had been sliced and left to dry out. Overall the food was disappointing. Certainly didn't compare with the food on previous visits.

Wend for a sunday lunch with my folks, missus plus our 12wk old twins. Great food, friendly and helpful staff, nice selection of beers on tap. Pub and staff we fine with us bringing our babies which is not always the case with pubs/ restuarants I love this pub!!!

Oh dear. Food apalling IMHO. Maybe a relief chef over the festive period. Not in a hurry to try again tho. Some items listed for my choice didn't arrive on the plate.

not as good as usual though they took all of the coffees off the bill when I expressed some disappointment. This is usually one of my favourite places to eat so hopefully just a bit of an off night.

Fantastic food, friendly service. Was busy but to be expected given the time of day. Recommend the baby back ribs, the burger and the roasts. Prices all very reasonable and friendly staff. Massive changes since the last time I visited.

We visited here after the Hampton Court half marathon so we were starving! Our table was already ready 30mins early, Which was great. We had the baked cambert and the nachos to share and we all got a roast. 2 lamb, 1 beef and 2 of the Vege Wellington. All came with Yorkshire pudding which wasn't really needed with the Vege dish. The only complaint was there was way to much salt under the pastry level, and some of it was edible. Overall a nice afternoon in a nice pub.

Roast lamb was very fatty and too thickly cut, plus on the cold side. The restaurant was very noisey with a table of young uncontrolled children with their parents sitting near to us which meant we were having to shout to make conversation with our friends. Have eaten at The Bell many times but have to say this was the worst to date. In fact, a group of four had to get up and be reseated because of the noise.

First time reserving on line. Very easy with quick conformation. Arrived a little early but table was ready. Drinks order was taken at once and menu choice very soon afterwards. Drinks served straight away. Not too long a wait before an enormous meal was served. Everyone well pleased and satisfied.

Lovely atmosphere in a great pub right by the River Thames. The staff were very attentive and polite, the menu very much a gastro pub menu and the prices reasonable. Would definitely return.

Great Sunday roast, puddings and service for the price. The pub is in a nice spot close to the river and has a decent range of beers on tap.

Firstly didn't have our reservation then sat at two round tables for two put together. Very cramped and uncomfortable. Was told to order athe the bar when expected table service due to making a booking. Was not informed up front that they had run out of all roasts apart from beef so had to regroup and order something different. Food was good nothing special. Asked for more grave and to be told that they had run out. Overall experience was mediocre especially when they advertise the fact that they won gastro pub of the year. Will not return as better offers available near by
