The Bieldside Inn

Perfect place to have lunch dinner with your family or friends. Cost is a bit high but not too high for the value you get

Could not fault food or service. Calamari followed by the classic fish and chips. I would not hesitate to recommend a visit here for dinner.

Very modern setting, Helpfull staff. Very varied food and drinks menu with lots of choice. Specials also avaolable. Food was excellent. Well presented and prepared. Able to adapt dishes to suit personal taste.

Another fab evening at the Bieldside Inn with great food and drink! The service was great even though the restaurant area was busy on the Friday night when we were there. We'll be back (again!)

Food was absolutely delicious. However, service desperately needs to be improved. Staff were incredibly un-attentive, too busy watching and shouting at football. Two separate tables knocked over a wine glass which smashed; on one table it didn’t get cleared up until after they’d left even though there were 3 young children at the table, and the other table had to get up and ask the watching staff to help clean the glass up. Music suddenly came on blaring. No one asked if we wanted more drinks or if our meal was ok, until after we’d paid the bill. Will not be returning which is a shame because we thought food was really good.

The calamari starters we had tasted great and mains of chicken and Bieldside scampi were excellent. Good atmosphere combined with First class food and service!

Greeted straight away by very nice waitress and taken to our table and offered drinks. We all enjoyed our meals very much. Very busy but courses were served quickly. Will definitely be returning soon. Recommend highly.

Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly making the experience of dining at the Bieldside Inn very enjoyable. The food was good. I would recommend this place.

The food was excellent and we received very good service. Atmosphere was good and everyone had a great night. The Pilot Grigio was also very good!

Food was excellent and service pretty good, only downside is the bar area where we ate was very cold. Will not put us off going back.

My local which we come to all year round, Xmas eve service was excellent as always, staff first class and a family friendly pub too

We appreciate it was very busy but we felt tucked away in a corner and having to keep asking for service, not usual standard of service at all, disappointing.

The quality of the food was poor. I order d chilli, which I can honestly say was the worst chilli I’d ever had. It was oily, greasy, lacked spice and flavour, and the mince was mushy. The others in my group had burgers, which fell to pieces, again made with mushy mince. The best part of their meals was the chips. Really disappointed. The starters, calamari and Cullen Skink were better.

Very attentive staff and tasty, flavoursome food. Very reasonable price for the area and lovely ambience. Good selection of choices on the menu. Will definitely visit again.

Good food, nice atmosphere, the staff were on the ball, I would have given top marks however several customers were vaping which is off putting when eating.

We were seated in the bar when I had requested the restaurant. The restaurant was bright and beautiful with Christmas decorations up. The bar was dark and dingy with very minimal lighting

This was our first visit and based on today's experience it won't be our last. Great service, surroundings and delicious food. Can't ask for anything more on a sunny but cold Sunday afternoon

Another successful visit to The Bieldside. A delicious lunch served by attentive staff. Food was yummy and fresh! We’ll be back again. The only minus is finding a parking spot!

Had a lovely meal great value and the staff were friendly and very efficient. Lovely time as it was my sons birthday and he really enjoyed his rib eye steak. Thank you. X

Took ages to be served at bar whilst staff chatted amongst themselves. Another customer had to get their attention to serve us. Forgot about our drinks at meal. Food fab though

Food was excellent - new menu and highly recommend the Posh Fish Pie. Service was also excellent which has not always been the case in the past - great improvement.

Venue very good minor comments are that the food which was excellent would have been presented better if served on larger plates and it could have been hotter, near the end of the meal it was cold.

Food was really good, ambiance great Only little problem was waitress breaking a glass of red wine over my son in law Happy to recommend though

I am a regular customer and would like to see a different dinner menu. There are only so many times I can have the Yakatori chicken! I am sure they used to change the menu on a more regular basis, I had the burger which was lovely,,,,,as usual. Thanks.

The meal was superb. The service of the staff was good and atmosphere was lovely. I would no hesitation in recommending The Bieldside Inn for a great meal.

The portions were generous, the food tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice they had an outdoor eating area for warm days too.

Helpful staff had good knowledge of menu. Food arrived promptly and everyone enjoyed their meal. It was quite noisy and difficult to hear conversation so it would have been better without background music on.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere, could fault it. The calamari was a favourite whilst the yakitori chicken was lovely. The wide selection of wine was also appreciated.

Food was excellent - I had the Yakatori chicken my wife had a steak which was cooked as requested. Staff pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere was good with the option of eating in the bar or restaurant areas

Served quickly on a very busy night had mother in law here from Spain and she loved it too, Lovely meal and great staff oh and the new gin was amazing too

A bit disappointed - food not as good as the last time I had a meal there with friends. ( at that time, we were all very impressed, and have recommended the Bieldside to others). On Sunday, we took some friends for dinner but it wasn't the 'special meal' I had envisaged. The restaurant wasn't what I would have called busy, but we had quite a while to wait for our food, and although the meal was edible, it just didn't create the same expressions ie delicious, fabulous meal! Will not be rushing back!

We had a really relaxed lunch. Choice on lunch menu was good and very reasonably priced. The food was fantastic. Could not fault our experience in any way. Will be back.

A short, but very good, lunch menu selection with the addition of 2 soup (1 veggie, 1 not) of the day offered. Price wise very good, and while my portion size was perfect (chicken wrap) the Chicken Caesar could have been a little more chicken and certainly more dressing. My dressing on my side salad with the wrap was lovely.

Excellent Service, Excellent Food, as always, have never had a poor meal at The Beildside, staff are always welcoming and friendly and food of a very high standard.
