The Bierkeller - Maidstone

The manager was rude and completely ignored requests regarding my disabilities. Food was ok (although not as described) orders were ignored/took awhile. Band was great.

Simply awful. Service is non existent and when they do finally get to you then you will wish they hadn't bothered as the food is that bad. Way too cheesy as well... Why they have not tried to create an authentic traditional German beer hall I don't know. Overall just very disappointing

Fantastic atmosphere .Its our second visit to Bierkeller and I have recommended it to loads of friends .I never thought that Maidstone could be such fun again

A brilliant fun place highly recommended. Leave your inabitions at the door and have a great night, don't wear anything too good u will be covered in beer by the end haha

The service time on arrival was abysmal, the bar was not even fully stocked despite only be open for 30 minutes and the staff seemed poorly trained on how to operate the tills. After waiting almost an hour to have my food order taken, I then had to ask staff to find out where my food and drink was after half an hour.

Great beer selection good food and great fun oompa band was hilarious will be back for more that's for sure. A few new beers that will be my go to beers

An awful night from start to finish! Non existent service, rubbish food and dragged out tacky entertainment. Under aged drinkers, full of kids. I left at 9:50 as it was that bad!!!

It was a really fun night and an amazing atmosphere! Definitely recommend getting a table as you can dance on the benches! Cocktails are amazing also!

Such a fantastic night out. Best night out I've had in a while. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food, music and entertainment. The drinks are fantastic too!

I was given so much grief from a bouncer. We were all as a work night out encouraged to stand on the chairs but when my friend sat on the table to be at the same height as others and I put one foot on the tables. A bouncer came over and had a massive go at us. These things especially only two weeks open be more friendly and approach on these things. They might be the rules but can be dealt with differently. We spent loads of money on our monthly night out and was annoyed by this ending to the night.

Really good fun night. I Fully recommend Wednesday night quiz. Good beer and really good, friendly service. One fault the pizzas are frozen microwaveable pizzas.

Food service is a little slow as the servers have to greet the other people, and everyone arrives around the same time for food. Such a fun evening though, it's such good fun!

Good atmosphere, OK food, but it would be stretching it to say that two people constituted an Oompah band. Service was also a bit patchy.

Excellent evening out. Does get ridiculously packed but adds to the atmosphere. Only missed getting a 6 as we waited over an hour to get our food which meant we were eating during the show so couldn't join in fair bit of first part. To be honest I would do away with the food..its basic so wouldn't be missed, just eat before you go to soak up the huge steins!

Great beer for reasonable prices, great entertainment, had a really good night. Something different to the standard clubs that Maidstone has to offer, highly recommend.

Good scene very close to a real beir Keller. If the DJ stayed off the microphone and allowed the music to play a little more this place would have got a 6 from me.

Brilliant night celebrated birthday as a group booking and had an amazing night!! Definately worth booking a table and joining in on the entertainment!! Will be back later in month.

The beer was overpriced and not very good. You stick to the floor if you stand still for too long. Drunken idiots dancing on the tables led to the inevitable - one fell over and spilled about 8 pints of beer over my wife. It's about as far from a bierkellar as you could get.

amazing atmosphere! food, drink and service excellent! could no fault the place at all and even got a free cocktail stein for my birthday! would go back in a heartbeat!

Food not pleasant reminding me of a party hotdog at a kiddies party. The benches lovely, unfortunately all cramped in. The show good, music awesome.

I expected proper German oompa music. This was a guy singing English songs in English with a German accent. Very disappointed with the live entertainment. 😢

It was amazing! Different from the rest and will be returning soon!! The atmosphere was so happy and high and everyone joined in, you won't be disappointed!

Was a really good night reliving 80s music. No real Umpa Umpa music which was a shame. Food not the best but recommend the chicken burger and fries. Downside is queueing for the bar. You can order drinks when your seated at the bench up until you order your food and pay for your deal after that you can only order drinks at the bar. 100's of people and 1 bar manned by 4 staff !!! I queued for half an hour to buy a round. Tip is order 3 steins etc at a time or more if you physically consume all that liquid (I did). In all it was still a brilliant night

Great atmosphere! Really fun place and totally different night out. Really SLOW service though. The poor waitresses definitely need more help. The quiz also last until 11p which is quite late for a Wed night

Very fun restaurant, great music selection. Steins are very good value and the service was impeccable. A very fun night out for everyone, especially for a celebration

Perfect night, with family and friends, quiz night was spot on, quiz master nailed it and we had a great night over all, definitely returning

We had a great evening with a really good atmosphere but it didn't start of to well. We were on The end of the table with another party of 20. We thought it was a bit strange when we got there that the waitress told us that not to think she was ignoring us but they had pre booked! At this point there was probably 6 of this party there but gradually they all arrived had their food and some even a second drink, mean while we still didn't get our first drink after 45 mins waiting. When I spoke to the waitress she did apologise and we did get a free shot ( and we ended up with a free drink but I think this was a mistake rather than to keep us happy). But would recommend to friends as I feel the concept is good . My daughter did say when she went last there were more audience participation competitions so was expecting more that just the yodelling one.

They know how to party in this place. Had a fantastic night out with my friends here and am planning to go back for more.

Fantastic venue and always a great night on a Wednesday with their 2-4-1 on pizza and house steins. Quiz is amazing as well best in Maidstone on a Wednesday night.

Welcoming and pleasant staff, great events on a regular basis, real good atmosphere and DJ offers a variety of genres and a variety of good food and drink!

Good atmosphere. food was ok. Only thing is the DJ was a tad too loud couldn't really understand anything he said was just noise. Entertainment was very good. Would go again.
