There’s nowhere else in town offering food like The Bite, an authentic Italian restaurant with a modern vibe slotting in neatly to the clutch of eateries clustered around Dalston Junction. Gone are the white and red chequered tablecloths and wall-mounted stock photos of Naples that typify your usual ‘authentic’ London trattoria or ristorante, in is a menu that retains classics like proper Neapolitan pizza, antipasti, pasta and risotto, hearty main courses, desserts and drinks, and in is a vibe that’s pure contemporary London E8. We can’t stop salivating over the antipasti board for two loaded with prosciutto ham, spianata with Calabrese ham, Napoli salami, gorgonzola, Asiago cheese, and fresh bread baked in house. We had one each and then tucked into a pizza pie made from dough that’s been left to think about life for at least 48 hours. A perfect Italian experience on Kingsland Road.
Cosy little Italian restaurant with a good atmosphere inside. There is plenty to choose from and very good lunchtime/evening takeaway options that make the authentic dishes very affordbale indeed ! The homeade bread is very good but a focaccia couldn't go amiss on the menu.
Good time at this place, I will be back soon. Lovely place with excellent staffs and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place for sure.
Amazing food and service. The pizza was very tasty and a really big portion as well. Excellent service and very good atmosphere. Definitely recommend it!
