Nice place for working or relaxing. Lots of sofas and types of seating available. Small menu but good quality food. A little expensive but OK.

We used to go to Black horse regularly because the food and atmosphere were terrific. I've been there twice in the past week, and the burgers were not up to the standard at all, not to mention the chicken masala, which looked and tasted worst than a ready-made meal from supermarket. is it a change of chef or management? The staff is friendly =) Not sure if I want to give it another go in the nearest future after the last experience

A really lovely pub (well maintained, nice furniture and a few games to keep the kids entertained e.g. table football), very friendly staff (welcoming and attentive) but unfortunately a very average Sunday lunch in terms of the food...
