The service was good and there was an interesting menu to choose from. The meal that I chose was tasty and was just the right size for lunch. To top it all there was cosy open fire

Food, staff, atmosphere were all excellent. The only thing that might have spoiled our experience (not the Black Robin's fault) was that our online booking had not been received by them, even though we had received a confirmation email from Quandoo. They were fully booked and no tables available so it would have been a disaster had it not been a beautiful sunny and warm day so we were able to sit at a table outside and be served our lunch there. The online booking service clearly needs attention!
