The Blue Anchor London is an iconic pub and restaurant with gorgeous views out over the Thames. Believe it or not, The Blue Anchor was first licensed in 1722 and it remains a proper local’s spot to this day, and it’s a proud member of the Hippo Inns family as well. In Hammersmith on Lower Hall, The Blue Anchor menus offer the best of British from brunch right through until dinner, and there’s a bottomless brunch on a Saturday as well as a roast available on Sunday. Everything is scrumptious, seasonal and there’s bound to be something for everyone. The walk from Hammersmith Underground isn’t too long, either, so make a reservation and get involved. This is propper London pubbing.
Great location. Menu a bit limited, but tasty food. Upstairs has nice river views and you can sit outside if warm. Decent service and prompt.
