Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed 3 out of 4 dishes (the honey chili chicken, chili and scampi). Good selection of wines. I would say a glass of prosecco is incredibly overpriced. It would have been nice to see some cocktails on the drinks menu. Coffee was great and decaf was available.
Nice atmosphere and building food awesome very happy visit would recommend
Enjoyed the meal but if we had not been located by a heater we would have been cold. Place was quiet for a Friday afternoon but it did ensure attentive service.
Excellent meal and service, prices are reasonable, would recommend this place
Food was fabulous and great service from the staff! Lovely place and would definitely visit again.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommended . Will come again
Both the serivce and food were lovely! We would definitely recommend to anyone! Very well priced too.
Was fantastic, food was great really all round great experience
excellent service. Able to meet special diet needs. highly recommend.
Relaxing atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful, main courses not very “festive” and burgers were slightly disappointing ( various types) but sweet was outstanding
The place was cold. Too much fat on the meat. Was a bit chewy didn't melt in the mouth as a good piece of meat should do
The restaurant were very accommodating with the number changing a couple of hours prior to the booking time and then the meal was amazing, great value for money and the portion sizes were big (too big for us to finish tonight but tasted amazing). Thank you Braided Fig
Only my second visit, husbands first and it didn't fail to impress. Had a beautiful lunch in beautiful surroundings. Staff lovely
Very disappointing experience. The food was delicious (if lukewarm) but we had to wait almost an hour for one course. The restaurant was freezing cold and we sat with our coats on. The portions were very small - two small slices of venison fillet for £20. The flavour was delicious but my friend actually ordered a plate of chips after her meal as she was still hungry. Really disappointed, especially as there is so much potential in the chef. Need to up their game and warm the place up.
I had a pleasant lunch with friends. I was happy to see a vegan menu and my food was very nice. Unfortunately though the BF did not have dairy free milk so I couldn’t have a coffee after my meal. That is my only criticism .
Service a bit slow considering we were going to theatre and needed our time but food was very good when it did come
Lovely food and very friendly staff! Definitely worth a visit.
The food and the service was fabulous, staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Will definitely return!
Friendly, efficient service, delicious food. Nice surroundings and relaxed atmosphere.
Best vegan ‘cheese n mac’ we’ve had. And the meat eater was thoroughly satisfied with the venison. We’ll definitely be back.
Lovely friendly service, varied menu including Sunday roast and delightful desserts. We all enjoyed it.
Great find. Fantastic service and the food was excellent. Only downside was sticky toffee sponge which was hard. Other desserts were lovely. Definitely going back next time in Aberdeen.
Food & service good but very noisy & difficult to have a conversation without having to shout!
Lovely meal and cocktails - beautiful restaurant with the tree and lights. Not a fan of compulsory 10% automatic gratuity's being added.
Problems in kitchen so we were unable to get lunch
The lamb dish was absolutely fantastic. There should however be a better selection for vegetarian as well as Vegan
I had the Belly pork, but was disappointed by the small amount of pork. I only had two very small slivers of pork. The rest of the dish was fine. Cullen slink was excellent!,
Really great food, lovely atmosphere and fantastic service. Thoroughly recommend it!
Food was absolutely amazing and atmosphere was brilliant. Totally recommend to everyone.
Generous portions of tasty, well-presented food, served by friendly, attentive staff.
Food and cocktails were both delicious. Service was friendly and quick.
Very good vegan meal. The Black Forest was really nice.
Good value, lovely food and catered for a coeliac without fuss. Thank you for the birthday candle!
Excellent food as always. Fig version of Cullen skink superb and the lamb guest cut delicious
Lovely food and great service nice relaxing atmosphere good value for money.
Very nice food and very good service. a shame not more customers for a Friday lunch
loved all the vegan options! keep them up! thank you
Lovely new menu. I am a pescatarian so it would have been nice to know there was bacon in the peas but maybe it was in the description and I did not notice.
The Braided Fig is one of my favourite restaurants. It is consistently good regardless of how busy it is
Great food, great service, location easy to find. The restaurant was very cosy and noise levels were low. We discovered scirly, what a thing of beauty!
Food was really fantastic & the great atmosphere. Highly recommend
Good food, customer service and atmosphere. We will definitely come back.
Really excellent food. We will be back for sure soon
Great atmosphere and amazing Sunday roast. Food was incredible and tasty!
Good food friendly service and reasonably priced. I’d eat there again
Lovely food in a lovely setting, service very good. Would recommend,
Great food. Varied menu. Attentive staff. Will definitely go again.
We returned the burger and bun as they were black and the waitress was unsurprised at our request. A replacement was provided and we were charged rightly for one burger. The famous Sunday lunch appeared to contain frozen roasted potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and mixed vegetables. The beef was not offered as rare, medium or well done. It was well cooked, nice but again didn't resemble a roast prepared from scratch by the chef. I had high hopes of a good lunch from the reviews but lunch was OK rather than delicious.
It was expensive for what it was: For the main course I had the Stir Fried Greens and it was drowned in sweet chilli sauce. It was like eating a slightly spicy bag of sugar. My partner had the Lentil Dahl (a favourite dish of hers) and she found it quite bland. Our starters of Popcorn Falafel were tasty, and I particularly liked the sirracha mayo. The service was quite slow due to their being only one waitress on, however this was probably because it was unexpectedly busy for a week night (a few large groups came in at the same time) so it would be unfair to mark down substantially due to that alone. For the overall meal experience it didn't feel like it was value for money. It might have just been a bad night?
Lovely meal and great service. I would highly recommend. See you again
