I went with my fantastic daughter on a stormy, wet night. She dropped me off outside , because I have some mobility issues, and parked up. The staff helped to my table at the beginning and when we left . This is a wonderful restaurant. My chicken tikka balti was just cracking and it is a special place for me and my daughter.

Lovely food, when I ordered the owner said you don’t want that try this instead. She was right because it was amazing. First visit but will definitely go back.

Absolutely fabulous from ariving until leaving food was superb and staff are fantastic warm and welcoming was the first time visiting but definitely won't be the last!

Food fantastic. My partner is very fussy and was recommended a certain curry by the mother (I think) of the restaurant and it was perfect. The service and atmosphere were spot on . We had friends visiting from Devon with us and they thoroughly enjoyed it!😀

Top quality food with top quality service and host great setting and atmosphere

Great food which was thoroughly enjoyed. However when we got the bill we were charged £6 for fries we hadn’t ordered and a £7 service charge. Won’t be going back!

Food not to usual high standard. One meal was sent back because it was too spicy when a mild curry had been ordered. One had very few pieces of chicken in it. Bill was wrong. WiFi problems meant that it took over 30minutes to pay the bill.

Food arrived scalding and had to leave standing for 5mins before we could eat it. Even the naan bread was to. The wife’s curry was not as good as previous visits and now hey have added a service charge on to the bill which I personally don’t like. I always leave a tip anyway but when they add it on automatically it’s not right. I ended up not leaving one because if this s ok tbegg y are better off not automatically adding one.

This is possible the best curry in Nottingham. The flavours and cooking level is the best I've experienced near the city and surpasses some of the best city centre curry's. Would highly recommend for the flavours and cooking. The staff are very friendly and on hand. They could probably charge more for the meals as they really are very good.

Fire alarm in middle of meal- no apology, no reduction on the bill. Service generally poor, very slow. Food good but spoiled as an experience

Service snd food was exceptional. We had a very personalised experience with dishes recommended.

We ate in the garden area on a sunny Tuesday evening, lovely surroundings by the river Trent. Staff are very attentive and polite. Food is fantastic. Best peshwari naan and curry (cobra chicken & tandoori chicken shaslick) ever! Well priced and good portion sizes. Highly recommend the Bridge & Bayleaf and we will definitely be visiting again.

Was particularly lovely to be able to sit outside although maybe a little disappointing we could not see the river. Food was lovely, but paper napkins were rather cheap and expected something a little better quality. However the warm wet wipes were very nice
