The Burger Joint Whiteladies Road is a Bristol institution, satisfying locals with mouth-watering American food since 2009. The concept behind ordering is “build your own burger”, where customers are invited to pick their own bun and fillings. You can order the likes of prime beef, peri chicken, wild boar or beetroot and feta pattie, all before smothering it with indulgent toppings and sauces. They’ve got everything you can think of – pulled jackfruit, blue cheese, jalapeños, baconnaise, peanut butter. It’s clear the team behind this Clifton eatery believe in only the highest standards, from decadent milkshakes to the last beer-battered onion ring. Even better, The Burger Joint offer a range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. With a casual restaurant space and al fresco dining when the weather’s good, this Bristol hotspot is well worth a visit.
Long wait for food but really nice burgers would come again
We had a late table booked but staff were still friendly and food was yummy as always.
The waitress who served us was absolutely lovely (I can’t remember her name but she had these cute soot sprite tattoos). We had a waiter come over at some point who was a bit rude which was a bit awkward but he only came to take the menus anyway. The overall meal would’ve been amazing had it not been for a table full of students who were shouting and screaming so loud that we couldn’t hear each other. If they’d have been asked to be quieter then our meal would have been more enjoyable but other than that it was a good experience
