Fantastic food.great service,very reasonably priced .especially loved the fruit crumble.also dog and child friendly , nice cosy atmosphere , would definitely eat at the castle again

Excellent choice of tasty food. Plenty of choice for our vegan son. Service of drinks and food also quickly served by polite competent staff. Will return!

Lovely vegan food but the (otherwise friendly/helpful) waiting staff really need to try it so they can answer questions when customers ask. Clearly a popular and busy pub. Didn't think much of the guest beer but enjoyed the IPA.

Lovely vegan meal for me, yummy meaty meal for companion, served by kind happy people in a doggie friendly happy pub. With good beer What's not to like?

Came specifically for the vegan menu, as being brought up in a very meat orientated family, who love traditional British fare, I have always found it difficult to enjoy a good meal with them. Thus, the fact that this pub catered for both was amazing. I honestly had no idea what to expect, but wow, I was stunned. I and the tofish and then the salted caramel tart with nice cream, which I could not finish!!! Very unlike me. My father, a life long fish and chip eater and vegan sceptic, tried both and even claimed the tofish was "too fishy", which from him, is a huge review. Thank you so much. The staff were really awesome, too. Will absolutely be coming again!! No doubt about it!

it's amazing that a place will offer so many great vegan options, I visited 3 times and each times they had sold out of significant parts of the menu which was unfortunate. Also I'm fairly convinced the lasagne dish contained dairy because I was ill afterwards (lacto intolerant vegan)

Amazing food, great selection to choose from and really handy that I could get a vegan meal and my boyfriend could have a meaty Sunday roast.

It is one of the first pubs that I have visited that have a good vegan menu with plenty of choice available. The food was excellent and I will certainly be returning

Simply epic vegan food....what can I say, go there, see for yourselves. Ice cream, tofish and chips, a huge burger, just go and eat till you burst. Redefines vegan eating out. Thanks to the very helpful staff also.

Lovely cosy pub. Busy on a bank holiday weekend and the staff did a flawless job. Tofush and chips were phenomenal, as was the blackforest gateaux. Will be returning!

Service was slow at times waiting up to 30 minutes for drinks orders. Food was very average, the vegan cheesecake was grainy and awful. My burger was dry and forgettable. Not a place I'm in a hurry to sadly.

Really friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and a fabulous vegan menu. Our meals were delicious! Great for families, and accommodated our little girl who uses a wheelchair. Highly recommended!
