Quintessential British charm is rife at The Cavendish Arms. This cosy and charming gastropub boasts a menu showcasing the best of the surrounding Chorley area, packed with fresh and local produce. You’ll find all your favourites at this Brindle spot, like the steak & real ale pie served with chips and veg, freshly battered haddock with mushy peas, chips and tartare sauce and a seriously excellent Sunday lunch. The Cavendish Arms is located on Sandy Lane and is the perfect choice for a relaxing lunch, or special meal with the whole family in the evening. Whatever the occasion, you’re in for a treat, just be sure to book though, as they tend to fill up quickly.
great service, lovely food, too full to manage a sweet, but the best onion rings around.all followed with a very nice Latte.will be bringing both my families next visit.
Not a warming welcome, in fact, on arrival stood at the bar for 3-4 minutes waiting to be served, with no apology!!! Food was very good and reasonably priced. Young serving staff at a bit of a loss.
This is one of the those hidden gems! A traditional pub with Fantastic food at brilliant prices. Everything was home cooked. Staff are polite and helpful. Will be defiantly returning.
