first time visited wont be the last, staff friendly food lovely, my daughter even tried something different which is a first as she always has a korma wherever we eat a curry.highly recommend

Nice food and staff very good. Drinks are very expensive and are not included on the menu which makes it difficult to know. Food however is good value

The service was good but we were a little disappointed with the food this time. On previous occasions we were always happy with the food and service. We will still go there again in a few weeks time.

Chilli Lodge continues to serve excellent grub with great service. The menu is extensive and caters to all levels of heat. Anyone up for a heat challenge, should try the bengal taste. It makes a Vindaloo taste like a Korma.

The staff at the chilli lodge were more than happy to help you chose a dish and taylor make it to your requirements and the garlic nan is to die for.

We had a pleasant meal at the Chilli Lodge at Silkstone Common - about as out-of-the-way a venue for an Indian restaurant as you could find in South Yorkshire! However it was very tastefully laid out and ther staff very welcoming and friendly. I had a 'Chicken Sylheti' and my wife a 'Vegetable Special Karahi', accompanied by Bombay Aloo, Kashmiri Rice and a Garlic Naan. All were perfectly well cooked; I have never had Sylheti Chicken before and it was interesting, although I'd have preferred a little more heat in something described as 'medium'. Again the Kashmiri Rice was new to us - think of something similar in flavours to a Peshawari Naan. The Bombay Aloo was pleasant but could have done with rather more pronounced flavours. As above, the service was good, and the poppadums & pickle tray flavoursome; and the overall cost including two drinks was quite reasonable. All in all the Chilli Lodge was a perfectly acceptable and pleasant Indian restaurant, with the advantage of being in a quite unusual and 'discreet' location (though easy enough to find when you know!). We enjoyed our visit - but it just didn't quite reach the standard of our favourite establishment.

We have been a regular visitor to Chilli Lodge for the past 4 years, whether sitting in the restaurant or enjoying a takeaway. The food is excellent with a huge choice of dishes and the staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Great service. Great food. We visited on Boxing Day. It was very quiet but still held A nice atmosphere. The food was lovely, hot and fresh.

It was nice food but very cold in the restaurant and going to the toilet was a experience smelt of bo and sweaty football kits

Been here loads of times and never had a bad meal yet, friendly staff as always and excellent service, will be back soon, would definitely recommend.

We had dinner for four and everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, a really good evening. I would recommend the Chilli lodge Silkstone to anyone who likes Indian cuisine.

The chilli lodge is excellent and has friendly service with a good ambience. The food is very good and is made in the appropriate time so you aren't waiting. Highly recommended.

Eight of us visited chill lodge and all eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We have been before and will certainly be going again.

Good service and good food. Nice airy atmosphere with plain unfussy decor avoiding the usual Indian restaurant clichés. We go regualrly and will continue to do so!

the meal was lovely and enjoyed by the majority of our party. we had to wait a little while for our meal but think this was because there was 20 of us. the waiters we courteous and friendly and I will certainly visit again

Very nice, food and service was very good. The only complaint that I have is that the car park is gravel and not great for walking on in heels.
