The food was amazing. We did the "can't decide" option and had a wonderful array of dishes. All tasty and some that we would not normally pick. A great experience. The only reason I haven't given a top score is that the drinks took a while to come. We were eating before they arrived.

1st time there was so good we returned! Most delicious food, the variety of taste Is immense! Highly recommend

Friendly but not overbearing service, food was delicious, I would have loved my egg runny in my hopper but I'll live! Goat superb as always, great suggestion for the roti for slipping into the curries, blackened pork superb and chicken wings very well cooked indeed. Did order deal but that came home with us. Cocktails we delicious, the negroni was very good, would love to know where you get your lollies! Thank you for a very enjoyable evening, keep up the great work.

We had the 'cant decide?' option where they brought out egg hoppers and a selection of mains and sides to share. It was all such tasty food, and we had a few things we'd never tried before. We really rated it, and we can't wait to eat there again.

As usual excellent food and very good value, with the bonus of friendly staff and a buzzy atmosphere. The goat curry and the cheesy columbo are highly recommended.

Great food , nice cocktails, shame the pineapple curry has been removed from menu! Friendly staff. Only niggle , was that the service wasn’t that good- it was busy, but lots of little things like being served food before being given plates , asking for water and it not coming , having to remind them about the roti and getting it when we’d almost finished .

We are family of 3 and we went to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Food was good and good value for money as is the cocktail. But huge let down was the ambience / atmosphere. Table wasn't properly clean at all. Layout is such that every moment some of their kitchen stuff is walking past your table. Literally no ventilation. Whole restaurant is full of smell of strong spice. Not comfortable at all to sit in for an hour and half while eating our food. Our cloth stinks of smell of spice after leaving the restaurant and I'm sure need good day or two to get rid of the smell. Restaurant has potential to be the best in the region but atmosphere/ ambience is horrendous. Good if you are after quick stopover or take away but if you want to celebrate big occasion then I would avoid the restaurant for sure and I won't recommend for that purpose. Hope management take notice of this constructive feedback.

Having spent some years in Sri Lanka, I was really hoping the food would be as I remember it. And it was! Really authentic and super tasty!

Food was amazing! Potatoes were a little spicy, but all good! Service was quick, cocktails were tasty. We were stuffed after, food was sooo good! Really tasty and something different too

Everything about The Coconut Tree's food and service was fantastic, and I'd highly recommend going. The low scores I gave for atmosphere and noise levels were because of an inebriated group who thought shouting at each other was an acceptable form of communication; they also thought it was funny to keep switching the lights off, despite numerous other diners trying to enjoy their evening.

We had a great evening and delicious meal. The staff were super nice and helped us choose some tasty dishes.
