First of all our server was amazing! She was very attentive, friendly and polite, the food was delicious and very authentic, my mums Srilankan so she knows her stuff. The only reason I don’t give the highest mark was that we waited a bit for sides that were to accompany other dishes that came earlier. We do love this place and it’s definitely a favourite place to come for a social gathering. Highly recommended 😄

We had a fantastic meal, the food was delicious with much care taken with our various dietary requests. We really appreciated the 'can't decide' option where you have a variety of dishes. Will definitely recommend and come again. Their passionfruit mojito was the best one I've ever had!

Very welcoming atmosphere and environment, high quality dishes with non-standard range. Cocktails original too. Tried with the 50% promotion. The same meal at 100% would perhaps have been a bit overpriced

Fantastic food, mango curry was divine and loved the sauce in the squash curry. We had never had Sri Lankan food before and the variety of flavours was unforgettable. Also enjoyed the mojitas. I can't wait to go back, such a lovely experience overall.

I chose chicken on the. bone curry: what turned up was a ribcage of a chicken with little or no meat on it dunked in some curry sauce. That was poor. The goat curry was good, but the rice that came with it was the worse I've had just about anywhere, dried out and hard as splinters. Not pleasant. On the plus side the staff were nice and the atmosphere was good, and the beer was excellent. Maybe time for some tightening up in the kitchen. There really is no excuse for that clucking chicken.

Being Vegan, I was delighted with the wonderful choice on offer. We enjoyed everything we ate, especially the Vegan Kothu. Drinks took a while but were worth the wait as the Raspberry Mojito was fantastic. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Food was good, shame there was no goat curry, given the fact it was very quiet it was difficult to attract someone’s attention to get another bottle of water, no one asked during the meal if everything was alright, only asked at the end, and the ladies toilet was awful, get the loo seat fixed and the light wasn’t working in one of the toilets, given the rave reviews we had read before going I expected a better experience, but still believe it is of value given the prices

Visited on 03/07/21 having been here a few times before. The food arrived missing a dish so we waited and asked for it then waited and asked for it and waited and asked for it whilst picking at the food that had been served. Eventually we ate the served food which was cold and congealing by this point after realising that the staff had no intention of serving the missing dish or giving us an explanation as to why it was missing. Pretty damn poor

Tasty, unusual dishes. Loved the pumpkin & the mango curries, and great cocktails. The waiter suggested 3 dishes each in addition to a hopper - but this turned out to be far too much for our party of 4 women (we should have ordered 2 each and got extra if wanted ..) The only thing we didn't enjoy was the music - the staff turned it down when we asked, but it was still too lound and frankly unnecessary in a busy, lively restaurant .. we chose to leave rather than linger over a coffee/wine.

Food, drinks and service were spot on! We trusted one of our waitresses for the menu choice and we were not disappointed. It was our first time at the coconut tree but will not be the last! We were table 26 and served by two lovely lady (one of them most likely called Iman as that was the name on the receipt) - we are very sorry that we did not ask for their names as we would like to thank them for the warm welcome and friendly service - they made the experience extra enjoyable.
