Amazing customer service, very friendly staff. The best food and drinks will visit again!!

My husband and I were celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary and I had 'bigged' up this place quite a big following a previous visit. So expectations were high. The food was fantastic (despite my favourite item not being in stock), and my husband was extremely impressed. We were given a complementary portion of ice-cream each at the end of our meal and we were very touched. Thank you to the staff at Coconut Tree for making our anniversary this year so special. I am recommending you to everyone I know!

Outstanding service, really lovely staff. Food brilliant, lovely, accurate advice given and food very tasty. Pork was very spicy, prawn and pumpkin curries lovely and sweet. Nice range to suit all of our palettes. Also highly recommend the pancake and the lamb balls!

We loved the music but it was quite loud. We waited a long time to order drinks and the food order was incorrect for a few dishes so we cancelled a few things

Food, decor and staff are all fantastic! Service can be a bit slow and the music is too loud which makes chatting a bit difficult. Turning the volume down a little would help a lot! Otherwise it's a great restaurant, I highly recommend it.

Food was incredible however service let the restaurant down. Clearly understaffed. But would go back as food was so amazing.

Service was a little stinted - food brought out over a long period of time which spoilt the enjoyment. One person in the party’s order was forgotten/missed and we were waiting for nearly 1/2hr and there was no apology or offer of a drink, reduction in cost or anything.

After being shown to our table there seemed to be a delay in a waiter taking an order for drinks. Apart from that though, everything was brilliant. The atmosphere here is really good. The food is just amazing!! Highly recommend.

Not had Sri Lanka food before. The general experience was great. Food was lovely but probably not my sort of thing. However that was more my personal preference to other styles of food such as Thai. Loved the eat all you want for £25 and my son ate for £12.50 and my daughter was free. For a family of 4 it was £62.50. We had ordered food and drink at more than double our bill so was a bargain! Spice up your life and give it a go.

First time at this restaurant. The concept of the menu was carefully explained by our server who recommended dishes all of which we fully enjoyed. We will come back again and recommend it to our friends and family.

Fantastic food, great service and good vibes! We came here for my 30th birthday celebration meal and everything was beyond perfect. The little added details were really appreciated! We are great fans of The Coconut Tree and wouldn't have had my birthday meal anywhere else!

A shambolic experience after being hounded to pay a deposit, many emails and 2 phone calls. Nut allergy not taken into account as meals arrived hap haphazardly. My grandson's meal did not arrive until we asked where it was, when all the mains had been served and mostly eaten. Dirty plates piled up on the table not removed until I moved a few to a different table. Then the waiter saying he'd "CHECK" whether we'd paid £55 deposit after we sent a confirmation of bank transfer. Such a shame as the food was lovely. Will not recommend, nor be back.

This was my first visit to the Coconut tree - the occasion was my birthday and i was there with 3 friends. The food was lovely (some was a little spicy for me but still delicious), the cocktails went down very well, staff were friendly and attentive, it was a great evening. Thank you! I will be visiting again.

It was our first visit, we received a great welcome and introduction to the menu, food choices were recommended and all tasted great. Had a bit of a wait for the bill however, the restaurant was getting very busy, which was good to see. Overall we had a lovely meal and will definitely be back. Thank you very much!
