Whilst not the best visit we’ve had, it was still a reasonable experience. It was however very noisy due to a large party, food not quite as good as usual and there was a slight issue with a drink. Hopefully, just a blip and we will more than likely be back.

Noise level to high could not have a normal conversation Consider changing the location of tv specials board, not nice have visitors stand near your table when eating

Unfortunately our order was missed, we waited over an hour and a quarter for food. I spoke to a member of the team after approx 40 minutes of waiting and he said he would check and advise. Waited another 10 mins and no update so spoke to the same person again and was then told our order hadn't processed through to the kitchen. They were very apologetic but it was still another 25 to 30 minutes wait for food to arrive. It was very nice when it finally arrived and we were recompensed for the inconvenience but it did mar the evening a little.

Menu was very good. Particularly vegetarian options. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We would return and recommend the food, especially the trout.

Very nice as always. Change in pricing to more expensive small meals instead of child size/price for elderly would warrant a revisit given very small appetite does not represent value for money.

Find the lights in the booths too low, don’t create a great atmosphere

The food was delicious and it is a lovely place but it was very busy and only two waiters on. We had to ask twice for our drinks as he forgot our order and then had to wait ages to find a waiter to get out per bill. Had to ask another waiter 10 minutes later as still no bill

Dined as a family of 5 and we all loved every single thing about our visit. Kids made to feel very special, food was all perfect, cosy table by the fire. Will recommend to everyone and can't wait to visit again.

Solo visit, last minute cancellation by fellow guest so waiting time seemed longer than the twenty or so minutes. Had fish and chips, unsure what the fish was and it was not well presented.

Would go back again. Definition worth a visit any day
