About The Cross Keys

The Cross Keys Milton Keynes is about as traditional a British country pub as you could wish to find. Having just undergone a major refurbishment, The Cross Keys is seriously stylish yet still feels homey, and in terms of location it offers the best of both worlds – not far at all from the centre of Milton Keynes but also among the leafiness of Woolstone on Newport Road. The kitchen prepares some of the finest homemade British food that we know of in Milton Keynes and the bar is stocked full of cask beers, stouts, wines and some good coffee as well. Little not to love about The Cross Keys, we’re sure you’ll agree. It’s popular, so advanced reservations are always a good idea.

The Cross Keys transformed the bar and restaurant last year. The food was always excellent, but the redevelopment was undertaken with sensitivity to the surroundings and they have created a superb place to enjoy great food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are still as friendly and efficient as before. On this occasion they were dealing with several Christmas parties but dealt with us as efficiently as usual. Thank you and well done!! Michael

The Cross Keys is a regular favourite for us. This was our first visit in 2019. As great as ever. Good food, attentive & friendly service and decent value.

This pub has gine from strength to strength since it’s refurb. It’s attractive, food reliably good and service friendly and efficient. Would quite like some ‘specials’ on the day as menu getting slightly tedious...
