So lovely to see a family run pub at its best! The burgers (both kids and adults) we're delicious. We walked out pooches in the woods literally out of the pub garden gate. But seriously, lovely food, perfect service from the boys, great setting and oober friendly!! Thank you

Good food. Good service the carvery was well cooked and we'll presented. Also a pleasant change not to be charged a ridiculous amount for a child's glass of squash. Well done .

Traveling on a short break from London we searched for a Sunday lunch in this area of many "highly recommended" gastropubs. Then we passed this old fashioned country pub. A superbly home cooked roast was only surpassed by the great service from every member of the team we met. Thank you for the welcome and the wonderfully friendly service.

Lovely little pub. Great food and prices. Sundays are carvery only. Gate out back leads to forest walks. Dog and children friendly. Friendly staff who are happy to help. Would definitely visit again, maybe in summer months to sit in the garden

Good food and a lovely proper country pub. Carvery food was excellent. I went large but medium would have been enough. We would recommend booking as it gets busy. Note they only do A Carvery on the Sunday.
