Really lovely atmosphere and food on a Saturday evening. The waiting staff were good but inexperienced - we weren't told that a bowl was boiling hot when it was put on the table so we almost burned ourselves. That being said, the landlord is really good and we will definitely be coming back!

A Real country pub - with a professional landlord who you were able to have a decent conversation with!! The food was excellent, and reasonably priced . We will return !

We were looking for a quick midweek meal. Excellent quality pub grub. The burgers were delicious and well cooked. Bar staff were charming. A proper English pub.

We as a family have been coming to the dog and fox for years on and off. We decided for my birthday to walk from south Wraxall to the dog and fox inn in Bradford on Avon for Sunday lunch. 6 of us, staff were brilliant and the food was excellent. no complaints. We all had a roast dinner and a couple pints. The lager we had tasted good quality. Will definitely return during the colder months for more roast dinners. 5stars

On Saturday last I booked a table for 5.30 pm for my daughter and I She was at a concert at the nearby Wiltshire Music Centre checked that I would be able to sit in the pub while she was rehearsing I was assured that this was fine I sat in the garden We travelled from Sutton Coldfield West Midlands During the afternoon I was told that 2 large groups were due in around 5 pm and as the kitchen was very small it could not be guaranteed to serve us in the time we had before the concert I took the menu photographed it and sent to my daughter so she could choose Obviously 5.30 was the latest she would finish She didn’t reply as busy rehearsing ! I asked the manager- I think it was -which was the easiest to prepare and suggested the fish finger sandwich-two thirds of the way down on the menu He answered very abruptly that they didn’t do sandwiches!!! Then he said quite crossly ‘‘we will get you through ‘ The pub wasn’t busy I got the distinct impression that I/we were not welcome at all When I did order at 4.45 I was given the two drinks and container with sauce’s mayonnaise etc to carry to the outside table I had been sitting at -I had to ask for a tray The food did come quickly, no sign of the two large parties, but we shall not be returning next concert

We were staying overnight in Bradford on Avon and I researched local pubs/restaurants online and checked their menus as I have some dietry needs. There were two starter choices which would have been suitable and I would have had one of these as a main course. I booked this pub for that reason as it was further away from where we were staying. However, when we got their neither were on the menu. I did ask in case there were "specials" which might have been suitable but there weren't any. I ordered something from the main menu but it wasn't very successful. We would not have booked here if we had known the online menu was not to be trusted and felt let down.

Really enjoyed the Sunday roast and dessert. Good value for money as portions were generous. Had a slightly longer wait for mains due to an oversight with the order but the server was very apologetic. These things happen and will not hold that against anyone. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere/environment. We will definitely come again and recommend a visit to others. Thanks for a lovely time regards Darren

The Sunday pub lunch experience was delightful. The pub had a cozy vibe that made the meal even more enjoyable. The roast chicken Sunday dinner was cooked to perfection - tender and flavorful, complemented by delicious sides. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. I would definitely recommend this pub for a relaxing Sunday lunch to anyone looking for a tasty meal in a welcoming setting.

All the rest was very good lots of vegetables so it was not all bad, everyone else enjoy there meal . It is a lovely pub and friendly staff I would go back again .
