It is my second time visit the dog and it won’t be our last! What we love is not just the food and service but the great range of vegetarian dishes too!

Excellent atmosphere very tastefully decorated dining room good beer choice dinner menu had numerous dishes and served hot and tasty with excellent value £ - we will return

We have eaten here many times , the food is amazing. The portion sizes are huge , so think twice before ordering starters. Sunday lunches are beautiful. The food is always cooked to a constant high standard and prices are very reasonable. Friendly and helpful staff too .

Wholesome fresh food and a cracking beer garden. Lovely place to visit, will be back again, maybe for a weekend breakfast.

Starters were lovely but roast dinner was terrible, we waited ages for our dinner and waiter came and asked us what we wanted for pudding when we never had our main I think they forgot about us food under cooked and dried out won’t be coming again

Recommend not to have Mac and cheese as it was terrible, had a starter which was soup which was ok , the mains was vegetarian lasagna which was awful tasteless with a thick white goo on top very little filling aswell , the desert was treacle sponge which actually tasted like marmalade??

The place was clean and food was genuine and homely cooked. Generous portions. Fantastic chips.

Starters took 30 minutes to come out, then initially wrong order, mains came out 45 minutes later and vegetables were mushy, roast potatoes barely cooked!

Went on a Friday lunchtime, very quiet food excellent as was the service.

I have visited quite a few times in recent. Butvits been a bit of a gap recently with work commitments. Visited again tonight with a colleague.. Super fresh hot cooked food.. Excellent value for money.. A very relaxes meal... Excellent

Been here before, so we knew the food was really good. Not disappointed. Lovely peaceful atmosphere. Very warming. Great service. Staff were very polite and attentive.

We are fairly regular visitors, and are always well satisfied. The fiod was excellent abd very good value for money. Excellent attention from the staff although the wait wzs perhaps slightly longer than we might have liked.

First visit to this pub and we were pleasantly surprised. Lady who took our food order was very professional and polite. The room was very cosy and inviting. We ordered starters and mains , fish bites, Brie wedges then a mixed grill and sea bass.food and service was exceptional and prices very reasonable. Great value for money. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely place. Very cosy with the log burner. Food was excellent. Good portions. I so wanted a pudding, but I had no room. We were served by a lovely lady. Will definitely be returning. We've also said we will visit in the week and try the menu.

Took my Dad for his birthday during lunch was quiet but that didn't bother me. The choice of food was excellent. Staff were friendly. Already booked to go again as really enjoyed. The only downfall is the parking as cars are mainly for garage on car park but did mention this. Looking forward to next visit and will try something different.
