The best Sunday carvery in Harrogate! We would highly recommend.
noisy with many unsupervised small children crying etc. Food cold, beef rubbery & cauliflower cheese tasted cheeseless! Overall food was pretty tasteless, but portions good
The new Magnificent Seven menu represented great value for quality food.
Booked this for a reunion for my mum and friends also a birthday meal they loved the food and loved everything about the afternoon while they were there well done the empress team

The pub looks great, staff very friendly and helpful and the food was great. Good value too.
Good service and nice and warm in the pub. The carvery was ok, meat was really nice with a good variety, all the veg and yorkshire pudding was undercooked.

Food wasn't very nice, cold and was served everything. I thought it was a carvery. The staff didn't seem to know what to do. Was told go up got told sit for 5 minutes. Wont be going again.
The staff was very friendly and nothing was to much trouble , the food was really good it was all freshly cooked and hot , i will definitely be booking again very soon xx

Good service was disappointed with the lack of choice on the menu which I guess was due to covid restrictions carvery or carvery with one vegetarian and one member of the family not a carvery fan would’ve been good if their website had been updated to show reduced menu The carvery was average at best value for money but average quality had worse had a lot better for the money asked for a high chair that wasn’t there but ok as little one happy in buggy

When we turned up there was no food on so just had one drink and left.
It’s great to be back at The Empress. The staff are always friendly and are servicing the tables well with the current covid restrictions. Had a great burger and the rest of the table enjoyed their food too. Ant’s quiz is also a highlight.
