A quick stop off for some much needed refreshment. The fives didn't disappoint!

We were well looked after, including our baby in a pram. The food was great and the alcohol free options were decent.

The ambience was nice and the staff friendly. One of our favourite local pubs.

Popped in to watch the rugby and sample a guinness. Some training required on how to pour it correctly. Otherwise a good atmosphere and friendly staff.

We had a large group and ordered another of dishes. The service was quick and the food great.

I wish we'd had a table away from the door as it made us cold but the food was good, music enjoyable and service great. My only issue was price it was a Sunday so we each had roasts which were good but the trimmings and desserts were really expensive. Mashed potato at £3.50 for basically a large spoonful is mad and the peach dessert was one peach cut in half - an awful lot for £6. I love this place but the bill is always a bit of a gut wrencher.

Great service and an amazing roast dinner. It was lovely to choose the sides we wanted and the portions were large. Staff were really helpful and room well ventilated and tables spaced well for Covid so felt comfortable eating inside. Great way to spend a relaxing few hours on a Sunday

Great, unpretentious, pub with top quality beers, cocktails and very interesting and tasty plates of food. Bao buns, ribs, crab beignets, squid etc. All top quality and authentic. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Overall good I’d love to say great. However our main criticism was the price of some of the plates for what was served. Small they may be overpriced they certainly were. Especially the tomato’s and mozzarella dish. Frankly very disappointing £5 would have been pushing it. As indeed was the broccoli dish. The fries were ok, whilst the halloumi and steak a little over done. Other than that love the venue and the service. It just makes you question eating out… a real shame… my last food experience wasn’t great either. Not sure I’d recommend as a result. The comment on the noise was largely as a result of two ladies that had terrible cackling. Unfortunately their “canned laughter” was rather irritating for others around them. Up to that point the noise levels were ok…

The food was great, we had 5 dishes between 2 of us and that we ample! We were near the kitchen and manages to speak to the chef briefly, he then made the effort to come to our table after. Would highly recommend.
