Very enjoyable, relaxed meal and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend it. The staff were lovely and accommodating even though we were half an hour earlier than booked

The surrounds are cosy and comfortable in a formal way, the food was scrumptious and the staff friendly, helpful but not too in your face. Would highly recommend.

Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, however food was average and marginally over priced for the quality, flavour and portion size. Starter wasn't bad but in our opinion incredibly small portion lacking in flavour, for £8 there needed to more than two bites, or at least deliver big on flavours. Mains were fine all round and then the desserts were incredible! Really quite surprising and a pleasant ending. As a whole though, we sadly couldn't recommend a visit to family and friends, but can understand the appeal if you live in the local area.

Don’t order the pumpkin risotto ... £14 for a child’s portion of rice and wilted rocket leaves was a complete rip off. The food tasted good so it was a shame there wasn’t more of it. We also waited a long time for our main courses. We won’t be repeat customers.

Haven’t been to this pub for many years so decided to try it out again. It didn’t disappoint. Hope to go back again soon. Well worth the visit.
