Gourmet British food doesn’t get much better than at The Foresters Arms Bagshot. Now, we are fairly partial to British cuisine, and this charming gastropub passes with flying colours. The atmosphere here is friendly, lively and packed to the rafters with community spirit. It really ticks all the boxes before you even get to the menu. Speaking of, this London Road spot cooks up an array of tasty dishes from pan fried duck breast with creamed celeriac and rosemary and thyme jus; butternut squash risotto and mouth watering roast dinner options. Whether you’re in to watch the game, catching up with pals or taking the family for a special meal, The Foresters Arms Bagshot has you covered!
Whilst we appreciate Mother's day is a busy day - the service was shocking - we did discuss with the manager and had a reduction applied to our bill - but we waited over an hour for starters, were asked if we wanted desserts even before we had seen any food - and none of the food came out together - final straw was being charged extra when asking for another scoop of ice cream on my daughter's dessert! Restaurant was not that busy by the time we arrived so there was no excuse for poor service. Not a reflection on waitresses - they and the kitchen were just not being overseen appropriately. Not sure we will come back based on this which is shame as the place is nice.
service was great and very friendly food just about ok we both had the roasts a pork and a lamb meat in both was ok potatoes only fair and other vegtables poor that has also been my experience on previous visits
