Had a wonderful lunch at the Fork in the Road. It was a shame it was quiet, as the food and staff service are fantastic. It is not the cheapest meal around, but it is excellent value for money as you get such great quality ingredients and that is worth paying a bit extra for - and it really isn't that much more either. We had a leisurely lunch, it is not a rushed affair, as everything seems to be made fresh to order, so allow some time for that. Drinks were very reasonably priced and again, great quality wines. I recommend the restaurant to all my friends and once again, they were very very impressed - will be back. My only suggestion, have a 2 course lunch option - we didn't want 3 courses so early in the day, but would have easily gone for a 2 course special. Thank you!

Came here for a family meal for Mother’s Day, what can I say, lovely as always, and the Prosecco for all the Mums was a lovely touch..

I love what this restaurant stands for and think everyone should visit to support it, at least once. The food and service were very good, we loved the mixed mushrooms!

Not a bad restaurant been to better certainly been to worse. Took a long time between courses wasn’t really that busy neither an hour and a half spent in total

Staff were lovely and attentive and all three courses were delicious.Our only disappointment was the tiny amount of dessert.The wine was very nice but small in quantity.The overall experience was excellent and in a relaxing atmosphere.

Restaurant lacked atmosphere. Staff do not interact with customers. Food was nice. Sat near disabled toilet, which smelt when door opened. Other toilets not working, so only toilet being used.

Fantastic food and wonderful staff, this is the place to be eating in Middlesbrough. Very reasonably priced and wonderful quality, make sure you book a table so you don't get disappointed!

Went for lunch for my birthday with two friends, food was excellent and service was quick efficient and friendly, have already booked to go again .

monday night and there's a group of 20 and another of 12. there are also empty tables but peopled are turned away. we'd booked a table of 4 - but if you are not staffed to cope with demand at least stagger the bookings. we waited 50 minutes for starters because of the 2 big groups - if youd asked us to come 20-30 minutes later that wouldnt have happened. Also we were put right by the frint door and froze even though there were more tables free all evening further inside. Vegan main course wasn't even starter size - we gave the vegan our chips

Fantastic atmosphere with great personal service. Food was outstanding. And of course there's the added benefit of it all being for a great course. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

So glad ive eventually got to visit The Fork in the Road its not in my area so needed a planned visit. Im so glad i did visit. We had a girlie lunch meet up here, lovely warm welcome on arrival, nice interior warm and spacious. Small but plentiful lunchtime menu with some gorgeous offerings. Well stocked bar lots of fab beers, wines, spirits on offer. We all opted for different choices everything looked and tasted divine. I opted for beer battered fish and chips its was sublime. The bill for four mains and two rounds of drinks was very reasonable. Service was friendly, efficient and unintrusive. I love the whole ethos behind this place. Will we return? Absolutely. Thanks to the staff who looked after us during our visit.

At The Fork in the Road, the customer service was excellent as the staff were very friendly. The food quality was excellent and we really enjoyed breakfast.
