Fabulous meal. Will return soon especially for new menu now.

Great food and service. Sitting outside and v relaxed considering lockdown etc. Very knowledgeable re dietary requirements and flexible with sides etc. Only issue was quite a lot of flies around the table which was annoying. You get a bit of that outside anyway, but could be an idea to put in a few zappers to improve a lovely experience even more :)

Food was quite nice, but no decaff coffee available and sadly not much atmosphere for the diner. Very sparse understandably, but just no attempt to make the surroundings look jolly!

Fresh, beautifully presented food. Good choice of drinks and dessert. Sunny, well-cared for pub garden with tables close enough to create an atmosphere but giving everyone enough space. Pleased to see The Fountain open again.

Enjoyed lunch with a girl friend; she opted for fish and chips, I had goats cheese souffle with sweet potato fries on the side. The food was delicious, hot and served by a friendly, helpful waitress. I have loved the Tuddenham Fountain for many years and shall continue to enjoy and recommend it!

Still one of the best places to eat in the Ipswich area, with everything to a very high standard.

Pleasant evening with very good service. Would be even better if food was seasoned a little more and pheasant not overcooked. It is not cheap and so a little more refinement is expected.

This was our first visit after several years as we have moved away from the area. Our experience was well above expectation. The service definitely A*. We were in the main restaurant which is spacious and quiet. The food and wine were both delicious and good value. We were meeting friends for a pre christmas catch-up. It was the first time for them and they were sufficiently impressed to say they will return the next time they visit Ipswich. I can recommend the Fountain wholeheartedly and send thanks to all the staff for contributing to a happy and enjoyable experience.

Lovely pub. Everything was perfect but I would have liked some spinach or greenery with my eggs florentine.

The food was all fabulous, except the bread and butter pudding, which wasn’t cooked. I suspect the second time it was brought out it had been done in the microwave as it still wasn’t properly cooked and the top wasn’t crisp. The custard was nice, but.... However, the white onion soup with whatever was wonderful....the best soup ever.

We enjoyed the meal. The menu had a good choice and seasonal.

Had Thai prawn curry as main. Was quite a small portion! My wife had Sunday roast beef. Beef was tough so half of it was left. A little bit disappointed.

Met a friend for lunch, the food and the service were excellent. Found the noise levels a bit loud, but I wear hearing aids and could adjust them. All in all a great lunch, thank you.

The food was excellent however the waitress was downright rude and therefore this marred our visit and we will not be returning
