Easy booking online and table was ready when we arrived. Nice atmosphere and great menu which is reasonably priced.

We turned up at the restaurant at our reservation time. It took 25 minutes for menus to be given to us, not even a drinks order taken. After a further 10 minutes of waiting someone came to take our order. It's poor considering they could see we had small children with us. Once we ordered the food & drinks, things actually got better. Food was delicious, very very tasty and the drinks too, compliments to the Chef and his team. It's just unfortunate that there seems little organisation in terms of waiting staff. The gent who initially welcomes guests, seemed unhappy, rude and not welcoming at all. He stood about whilst other staff were trying their best to do a mixture of jobs - not really a team effort. We were seated a very nosy bar area whilst the restaurant (were we have dined before) was empty - I was unsure as to why we had been placed in this area as it remained empty throughout the time we were there. We had pre-booked online a week in advanced, so was really surprised to be in this area. This was supposed to be a special meal for my Mum.

Due to the recent concerns with Covid-19 the restaurant was empty, which is beyond belief due to the fantastic food on offer. DO NOT be one of the paranoid hordes, use common sense and be assured that this restaurant NEEDS your business now more than ever before. The food was exceptional, as ever, and the service from Lazlo and Aiden was fantastic also. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL.

I've been a couple of times before and always enjoyed it. I came for my birthday yesterday (Sunday afternoon) with my family and was disappointed really. The food quality was lovely, but the service was very, very slow so much so we didn't bother with dessert in the end. The portions were very small as well. Tiniest bucket of chips I've ever seen. Overall I was disappointed which is a real shame because its a lovely restaurant one of the nicest in the local area.
