Everything about our eve at The Greyhound was perfect. Food delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We were a party of 8 with three dogs and we were made to feel very welcome. We've eaten here a few times and it's always been delicious and the service is great!
Great food and super service , Cider and Sausages , Faggots and Mash . MARVELOUS
Great food, arrived really quickly & dog friendly too! Would go again!
Decorated for Halloween excellent. Visited during Half term break very busy. Excellent service, despite only 3 staff serving. Very friendly staff. If you travel using Swanage railway, remember to show your tickets as you get a discount. Would love to revisit when the pub is decorated for Christmas. Highly recommend.
Great falafel and sweet potato fries. Accommodated our time change, thank you.
Amazing food & great service in such a beautiful and picturesque village
Sunday Lunch - Arrived & seated 1.45pm - took 15 mins to take our order - drink arrived 15 mins later - complained & asked when food would be served - reply "soon" but food took another 15 mins after that. Food was great but service too slow! Obviously busy but they did not manage our expectations.
Pub very busy but we were looked after very well
Perfect, great afternoon thank you , will be back soon.
All 6 people were more than happy with the roasts and burger.
Great Sunday Lunch huge portions, good service, lovely village location
The Sunday roast was very good but service was slow.
The food, the staff and finally the view of Corfe Castle were fabulous.
Fantastic Meal, Fantastic Service, the steak and the pulled brisket were fantastic.. thank you so much
Excellent Sunday roast! All our choices went down very well.
Our visit was amazing. I had the pulled pork and it was delicious. If it hadn't filled me up so much I would have wanted another one. Even on a Monday night there were other people eating with only a few tables free. The staff were friendly and attentive. It is obvious they enjoy working there. I would very happily eat here again as I'm very much tempted by the brisket after such great pulled pork, alas we are only in the area for a week and have already booked other places. 100% recommend
Very friendly professional staff. Immediately booked for another evening meal
Beautiful Sunday lunch, quality foods, fresh, tasty and excellent service all round.
We had a lovely lunch with our family’s and felt very well looked after. The food was delicious and the perfect spot to then visit Corfe castle
The food was excellent and served quickly. However, was kept waiting for 30 minutes for the bill and had to go up to the bar to pay. Service charge wasn't mentioned when getting the bill. This spoilt what was otherwise a fantastic dining experience and feel a little more attention could be paid to this.
Lovely restaurant. Good food. Problem I had was that I have an egg allergy. There was only 1 item I could eat (I don’t eat fish) Spoiled my experience for a birthday meal
Couldn't fault the service here. Great views of Corfe Castle from the back garden. A row of parking outside front door. Food was well presented and tasty. Extensive menu choice but unfortunately the day we went, a few foods were off the menu so maybe best to check first.
We sat in the covered area of the back garden which was a nice environment, but spoiled a little by the presence of nearby smokers who were within their rights to be there, but that they're permitted so close to the dining area is a shame. The staff at the outside bar were a little loud and coarse whilst entertaining themselves between work which I've reflected in the poor score for service above.
Super fast courteous service with a smile! Great food too.
Visited the Greyhound on a Sunday evening recently when staying in the area. The pub and staff were welcoming and the service OK. We both had the roast beef dinner. Overall the meal was a bit of a disappointment, particularly given the near £20 charge. While the roasted vegetables were good, the beef was nowhere near the quality expected of 35 day aged while the roast potatoes seemed to have barely seen the roasting tin. On the plus side the beer was good.
Lovely pub fantastic roast dinner and lovely staff and fantastic views
Nice location Friendly and efficient staff Good food Liked the Brisket Burgers
Always friendly staff, delicious food and excellent service highly recommend
Food - the impression was preprepared, poor quality and therefore not good value. The ham in the Ham , egg and chips appeared to be thin reconstituted slices of a cheap supermarket type not generous slices off a joint as is usual elsewhere. The other food was also poor quality for the money. A pity as otherwise it is a lovely old pub.
Very friendly staff, very good service, good food and pleasant decor. Dog friendly! Will visit again.
Manager was exceptional. Greeter, take orders, cleared tables and was everywhere. Food good and service good.
Staff fine, starters okay, main course awful. Music too loud, moules off the menu-disappointing.
