The place to go for a cracking steak. Looking forward to returning.
Unfortunate occasion with an (alcohol fueled) loud and boisterous group of revellers disrupting the atmosphere. Staff dealt with them adequately and were very apologetic to other diners. Have had many enjoyable visits before and will hopefully continue to visit for many more.
Food superb service just as good will definitely be back next time we come to Cheltenham
Steak lovers and gourmands alike from all over the Cheltenham area flock to The Grill 49 when they want to be guaranteed an incredible meal. The folks here are serious about steak, asserting that this meaty delight is the best comfort food there is. Stop into The Grill 49 during the early daytime hours and start your day off on the right foot with one of their many breakfast options. We recommend the Breakfast Burger, a British beef burger topped with bacon and a fried free range egg. During the evening, you can’t go wrong with one of their signature steaks such as the 10 oz sirloin or 16 oz T-bone, seafood delights like chilli garlic and rosemary sea bass, or their own homemade Jamaican jerk chicken. For dessert, their creme brulee is truly phenomenal, and a must-try for diners with a sweet tooth. Reservations are highly recommended for this one of a kind restaurant in the heart of Cheltenham’s town centre.
