Friendly staff and really enjoyable food, will be going again.i would recommend it has a place to go for a very pleasant evening out with friends

We visited on a very busy Friday evening when Wolves were playing at home. All reserved tables had been taken over by football supporters, although this was quickly sorted out by the staff. A very friendly lady showed us to our table where we were served good quality food.

An excellent lunchtime meal with very friendly service. The pub had a really good atmosphere with good quality real ale. Good value for the money, we will certainly return.

Food bit of a con, we ordered a chick dish and there was next to no chicken in it. Nice but seriously we are not stupid!!!

The Hooded Ram in Wolverhampton is a great venue and the chef serves some amazing food. I had such a great time that I almost missed my train home!

Had a great night with my son and the food was up to its normal great standard, Jeff and Sophia looked after us all night ensuring we were fully liquidated at all times

Very friendly staff, food was amazing however portions were huge could scale back for the lighter hearted. Great musics, fantastic find will definitely be back soon.

Went to the Hooded Ram whilst staying overnight in Wolverhampton. It was Wednesday night so was quite, that didn’t effect the great service or excellent food though. Food had great flavour, tasting fresh and good portions and not expensive. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent venue with great food. On this occasion we each had a Thali which was delicious. The staff are very helpful and polite.

Good quality lunch with a nice range of real ales. The staff were friendly and efficient. The pub had a good atmosphere and we will certainly return.

No atmosphere given too small a table for the size of party booked. Prawn starter was heavily over cooked. The level of service was not as expected. Will not return.

I was really impressed with the Hooded Ram. The quality of the beer and food was great. The combination of high quality drinks with great Indian street food is an impressive addition to Wolverhampton's city centre. The only downside was it did take a little while to be served, but it was a match-day evening and therefore not wholly unexpected. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of food, drink, decor and atmosphere together with the reasonable prices. Great value for money.

A nice meal and friendly staff. I would however suggest that it would be helpful if the menu was available to view on their website.

Clean environment with a lively atmosphere, especially on a matchday. Food was pricey but expected for the city centre. Would definitely recommend visiting the Hooded Ram!

Always have a great time here and the staff are really friendly. Try the Amber ales they are a bit different to the run of the mill ales

The food here is amazing, but I'm afraid the service let this down greatly. We pre booked out food but still had to wait 40 minutes for the starter. There was no urgency from the staff and no real smile. The starters were put in from of us and we weren't asked if it was our dish so we had to swap them over ourselves. When the mains eventually came out we were half way through them before the Naan bread arrived, one of the mains was wrong but we had waited so long we decided not to say anything as we would have been waiting even longer. The waitress informed us the chef was over worked. Because of this we won't be returning to the restaurant.

Fantastic experience that made me look like an absolute boss to my fellow employees for our staff do. A great option for Wolves town centre - and for those who need to try something a bit different. Great food in a great location.

Excellent food, ideal for xmas parties, good selection of beers, the firecracker fries are particularly good, one of my fave places in wolves, defo worth a visit

A proper gem in the centre of town. The staff are welcoming and attentive, the food is out of this world, and they had a singer on too! I can’t praise them enough.

Lovely evening with very tasty food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff, convenient location. One small quibble: I had pre-ordered the food to be served at 19:00, but it was over half an hour later that the first dished started to appear. Everybody enjoyed it, though, with several saying they would return.

Tables and chairs not great, get your own drinks and pay for your food up the bar. Food was lovely, sharing meat platter, hot, fresh with dips.

Nice place, food and atmostphere. It was nice to be offered table service but it took far too long for drinks to arrive so wasn't actually worth it.

Nice food and nice place staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend, food is on the spicy side but was tasty, will be going back to try something else
