The district of Ropewalks is a bustling district brimming with exciting dining and drinking options, so it’s no wonder The Hub Alehouse and Kitchen opened its doors here in 2011. Part of the Bistro Qui group, the team behind The Hub certainly know what they’re doing and are going from strength to strength. With an extensive British gastropub menu that changes seasonally and a carefully curated drinks list, you’re sure to find something to whet your appetite. You’ll find this hotspot on the corner of Hanover Street and Duke Street, in the heart of Liverpool, so get to it and book your spot today – you won’t be disappointed.
The Hub can be loud and busy early Saturday but it makes for a great atmosphere. There's a good selection of drinks and plenty of menu choice and our waiter Tom was very attentive. Our party of 3 thoroughly enjoyed their meal. One quibble is that some of the main courses need additional side dishes which come as an extra charge. This is OK, but a side dish is enough to serve two people and that could have been pointed out to us when ordering.
