Set amid the lush and serene Gloucestershire countryside, The Hunters Inn brings classic British fare to new heights with a wide-ranging menu of starters, mains and desserts, freshly made to order with high-quality produce from the region. Located in Longdon, a short drive from central Tewkesbury, this restaurant is especially known for its weekly Sunday carvery, which features a generous selection of meats, fresh veggies, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding for less than ten quid. Gather your friends and family to share a memorable time together at this idyllic spot, but don’t forget to reserve ahead to avoid disappointment.
I had chosen the venue by looking at a map for convenience of meeting family so it was a very lucky chance that we went to the Hunters inn . The food and pub was excellent . An abundance of choice of meats and vegetables. However, we were overcharged with an extra glass of wine , also our dessert took ages to arrive due to an oversight with the kitchen /printing order . The staff were really good otherwise .
Great restaurant - we are regulars. Staff very helpful. However the quandoo online booking service did not work so we turned up “without” a reservation. The staff were very accommodating and ensured we had a table and did not keep us waiting.
Friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere, the food was very well presented so all good, there were 4 of us and all starters and mains were excellent quality.
