Hidden away in the charming Scottish town of Stewarton, north of Kilmarnock, The Indian Kitchen is quietly and successfully going about its business. This Indian restaurant is homely, welcoming and excellently-located in the heart of town on Lainshaw Street. You can be assured that nothing will be too much trouble for the tight-knit team here, and on the menu you can expect all the curry house classics as well as a chef’s collection of dishes that go way beyond the norm. Trust us when we say the Punjabi pardesi is certainly one not to be missed, prepared with plenty of green chilli, coriander and spinach. Unusually, too, The Indian Kitchen specialise in charcoal grill, so expect further signature dishes in the way of chicken charcoal, served with peppers and onions on a fearsome sizzler. It’s all here at The Indian Kitchen, so make your way to Stewarton now.
Food brilliant & service brilliant. Would recommend people pay it a visit. Have been a few times now and the quality is always very high.
Good food, great selection of starters and main courses, good service, very friendly and attentive. Gave us free spiced onions and poppadoms for taking so long to bring drinks( which wasn't actually that long).
This is my second time using this restaurant once for a carry out and this time for a sit down diner. The food when it eventually arrived was of a good standard but unfortunately they are let down badly by the slowness of there service.
