It was a very busy summer evening. Service was slow and food was ok. However, the staff did apologise for this and explained they are working with a new system. Because of the friendly staff I would go back again.

Perfect so is distancing and excellent food as usual. See you next week

We visit Inn on the pond regularly and always enjoy the food and drink selection. As a vegan I am particularly happy that they recently introduced vegan menu incl. deserts and pizza, the choice is great and food is delicious. Atmosphere wise - it is best in winter time (cozy fireplace) and summer with outdoor siting and plenty of walks around. However, good place to visit all year round. Gods are very welcomed too :-)

Booked a table for six. Great menu - including a complete vegan menu. We ordered from the main menu, the children's menu and the vegan menu - everything was great. Pizzas were fantastic. Service was lovely throughout.

The ideal venue and relaxing atmosphere for a traditional Sunday roast.

Ran out of fillet steak after taking our order on valentines , wrong sauce given with corrected order. Given a free drink so not all bad food was good.

Very good food, great service and not too busy for Feb school half term,... "thank you" to the dregs of storm Dennis for that I believe! Nearby table of 2 mums with 6 children (none under 5) a bit noisy (mum's blissfully ignorant of other dinners - as per usual), but bearable. Far less bearable were doting parents with toddler who was allowed to shout at full volume, much to the parent's apparent amusement. This was clearly an unwanted intrusion for all diners, judging by exchanged glances/raised eyebrows at other tables. Fortunately we were on coffee when that particular family arrived, so had limited exposure. It did help drive us out of the door though. My son is nearly 19 now, but he would never have been allowed/almost encouraged to disturb others like that - a sign of the times I'm afraid!

Very nice food and atmosphere. Vegan fish and chips was a hit with our family. The ladies who looked after us were very friendly and knowledgeable. And our puppy was made to feel at home. Great experience overall.

Friendly and efficient service when we went for lunch. Lots of choice on the menu including vegan options. Pizzas were thin crust, freshly made and tasty!

Excellent and friendly service, delicious fresh cooked food, large range of choices, including a full vegan menu, realistically priced wine list and a bill for two people for lunch that was more than acceptable. All in all, a real find and I will be arranging a return visit with 8 people in the very near future.

Food and service were very good but it was really cold inside and we kept our coats on for the two hours it took to eat our Sunday lunch. Probably would not go back there again for this reason.

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was tasty but we would have liked hot plates for our main meal. Loved the fairy lights and looking forward to our Christmas meal.

We visited knowing the pub had a good vegan menu & we were not disappointed!! FANTASTIC vegan roast dinner...so delicious, highly recommend.

We have never been to IOP before, but we were really glad we went. The staff were very attentive, and the meals were really good, and worth the money. The roasts were were too big for me, but everyone else managed to eat them. We will hopefully go there again sometime.
