Located inside a former hunting lodge dating back to 1856, The Kenlis Arms provides a charming setting to dine in with its traditional decor. On the menu, expect to find British classics a-plenty and homemade pub food favourites crafting using fresh and seasonal ingredients. Start off your meal with some garlic mushrooms or the black pudding stack before tucking into a homemade pie, beer-battered fish and chips with mushy peas or the cheese ploughman’s. Then, finish off on a sweet note with The Kenlis Arms’ famous apple pie. You'll find The Kenlis Arms on Kenlis Road in Barnacre, a short drive from Garstang – just remember to book in advance to guarantee a table!
As venue for bands it was was excellent, and friendly audience. Stillhouse was an really superb band. I did book a table for food, but then was contacted to state that no food on band evenings, which was not a problem, but may need to change how table booking and food is advertised on website.
