Usually it’s hard to find everything you and your whole family need under one roof. Even harder with the stipulation that said roof be that of a gorgeous Georgian building in a prime High Street location. In Yarm, however, The Keys makes this seem easy. One of the area’s most popular nightclubs as well as a respected family restaurant, The Keys is a venue like no other around, combining fantastic food, unbeatable atmosphere and a pulsating bar without compromising any quality.
The Keys can safely claim to be one of the most popular all-around venues in Yarm and across the entire Northeast. Making the most of a superb location in a historic building on Yarm’s gorgeous Georgian High Street, this atmospheric bar, club and restaurant blends old and new with effortless finesse. A quaint picture of bricks and panel windows evokes images of yesteryear and beckons you in from outside, while the interior throws the clock forward again with stylish modern design and sleek contemporary furniture. The area of lit floor tiles doubles as a child-friendly play area by day and throbbing dance floor by night, when The Keys – as the only place in Yarm licensed until 2am – hosts crowds of party-goers.
You don’t need to be planning a big night on the High Street, though, because The Keys’ superb restaurant is open morning, noon and night every day of the week. Take a seat at the bar and nibble your way through delicious small plates like game terrine with apple puree, homemade chicken liver parfait or Thai fish cakes. Bring the whole family for a Sunday roast, stop by Yarm for a healthy lunchtime salad, filling wrap, panini or sandwich; or sit down and go the whole hog with a mouthwatering steak or popular lamb and coriander burger. Whatever the occasion, this is one of the most reliable dining venues around.
Despite the on going work to the dining area, we had a lovely time. Staff were very professional and the food was tasty- portions are huge. Great value👍
