I took a terminally ill lady for a Christmas lunch and it was freezing cold as there was no heating on. There was no turkey and ham hock pie, only one gammon available after two were ordered and no crumble. I was very disappointed and sadly won’t be rushing back 😌

Was looking forward to Sunday roast but left very disappointed. Asked for extra Yorkshire, got potatoes instead, potatoes (supposed to be crunchie roasties) were horrible, hardly roasted at all. Really sat discussing trying a proper restaurant next time! Asked for a coffee liqueur (advertised) but they just dump a liqueur into a late so she didn't have a clue what a calypso was. Not her fault, the advert should be more explained. Our second trip here but our last. Probably best lunchtime weekdays, less to cope with!
