Another great night out. Lovely food, service and atmosphere and no panic when I managed to set my napkin on fire 🔥 Doh
The best restaurant in Walthamstow village. Great food and service.

Always a pleasure to dine at The Kitchen. Superb food, second to none!!
Nice and warm restaurant with friendly Staff and ambient music.
As always, fantastic food. There was a bit of a wait, but definitely worth it!
We had been here before but never for the Sunday roast. We had heard the Sunday roast was strong so gave it a go. Unfortunately, similar to last time we went for breakfast, this is a story of good food being let down by half-hearted service. These roast portions are hearty and generous, with thick gravy and enormous yorkshires. However, I would still pause before going back. We weren't offered a drinks order for ten mins, and then someone took our food order - I had to prompt for drinks. Then, the choice of beer is terrible, with only high-street flavourless lagers on tap We order wine instead. The first red we asked for turned out to be unavailable, then the next we order was terrible! Moving to the food, it took ages! Busy restaurant yes, but still, and no mention of an apology for the wait. Moving to desert, I was told I could only have coffee or liquor on my affogato, not both, which was odd given the pricing on the menu says "add" liquor for a couple of quid. Lastly, the bill took an age to come. We had to do the classic buzz-killer of trying desperately to get the eye contact of any staff. Eventually I had to almost grab one of the waiters to ask for the bill so we could leave. Not getting a prompt bill is one of the cardinal sins of restaurants, really leaves a sour note. All the while, I could see the owner relaxing having his own meal a couple of tables away, couldn't help but think it might have been a distraction for the staff. Cheers to the chef for his lovely cooking nevertheless.
Best restaurant I have eaten in locally for the last couple of years, great food, just delicious and good sized portions. Can’t wait to go back, menu was very appealing. Something for everyone. Friendly staff .. quite perfect, all round restaurant.
Lovely food and good service on a Friday lunchtime. The gnocchi was particularly good,
I went for my birthday dinner with 6 family & friends and we had a lovely experience. Billy and Mel were very friendly and the food was delicious. I recommend to all Stowers!
Great food friendly attentive staff and beautiful relaxing environment my favorite resturant in the village
Great service, and fantastic food. One of our party couldn’t finish their dish, and the kitchen were happy to box up the leftovers!
lovely restaurant, lovely food and lovely staff - really good
We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch with friends yesterday. Definitely would go back for the roast and eton mess. Great service and not on a schedule either.
Went to The Kitchen for the first time yesterday and it didn’t disappoint. Exceptional service and the food was amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough and yes we will be back!! Thanks for making our anniversary so special!
Very enjoyable experience and delicious roast dinner. Would definitely recommend.
Food was delicious. Reasonably priced too. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Lovely service. Wonderful cocktails and wine. The mezze starter was lack lustre. The halibut was very good but unfortunately the risotto was very over cooked and mushy. Mixed feelings.
We went for a Sunday roast today and I can not recommend it highly enough. From the fantastic knowledgeable yet friendly service to the quality of the food and drink on offer. The choice of roasts, the normal carnivore options which all took my fancy, along with a choice of vegan nut roast or a veggie Pattie for my non meat eating partner. I’ve had 40 years of eating roasts and I must say my roast beef was up there with one of the best, perfectly cooked and presented. My partners nut roast hit the mark and went perfectly with the bottle of Aussie Shiraz we ordered. This was our first visit but will not be our last.
Amazing food & service in a lovely atmosphere thank you 😊
Delicious food, excellent service & very accommodating to one of our party who was being a little fussy. A thoroughly charming restaurant & one of my favourite’s in Walthamstow.
Tout est parfait , nourriture excellente , très bon accueil
Under new management this year. Refreshed look and doing well in a competitive environment it seems. Very enjoyable meal - lovely risotto.
Welcoming, friendly service, lively atmosphere and the food was really good. A very enjoyable evening.
Loved it. I was a bit chilly as the kitchen door was open so the owners closed the door and checked a few times if I was more comfortable, which was very kind of them. Our waitress was smiley, friendly & incredibly efficient & made us feel welcome, in fact all the staff were exactly that. I had pork belly cooked to perfection & the yorkshire pudding was huge. It was absolutely delicious. We didn’t stay for dessert as we were stuffed. Absolutely wonderful service, scrummy food and incredible service. We’ll definitely be back.
