Food was good and service was good, just had to wait until our reservation time (we were 30 minutes early) and there was a bit of a lag between appetizers and entrees so the whole visit was about 3 hours

The food and the service were both perfect. The only issue we had was the set menu was advertised as £35 for two courses on the door outside, however when we got the menu to order our food, the cost was £40 for two courses.

It's just amazing place! The service is extraordinary, the food is delicious and they understand needs of little kids ridiculous orders :) (e.g. plain pasta with cheese 🫣) . Everything comes beautifully served. Honestly, I could not recommend more. It is your must to have lunch Dinner any food place:) AMAZING!

Main courses were first class. Nice environment- table with super view over river and castle. Quite expensive for limited set menu.

Food was amazing, nice wee breaks inbetween. Staff very informative and friendly. Highly recommend. Only thing I’d say was I’m in a wheelchair and were on bottom floor next door and it kept opening up in its own making it cold, so I’d ask for a table further away next time.

Very friendly service, and first class food. What isn’t there to like?

We were there on Monday evening, on a short visit to Inverness. Excellent food and wine. Staff very helpful, friendly and efficient. If we visit Inverness again this restaurant would be top of our list for a re-visit.

We had a brilliant lunch for Mother's Day. The food was really tasty and high quality, would definitely return in the future.

Lovely meal, we chose the three course option and were not disappointed. The service was very good with pleasant chatty staff. The background music was subtle and the upstairs seating area had a good vibe. We will definitely be back.

We arrived @ 6:00 pm. Instead of a starter, we went straight to the mains. We then had to wait for 40 minutes before receiving our meal. People who came in after us received their starter straight away. I brought this to the attention to the staff who were very helpful and apologised. They said all comments are noted and shared with the kitchen and management. Sadly, on my last visit, the same thing happened. I commented then, and obviously, the concern was not taken on board. The kitchen set up is poor.

Delicious Sea Trout,cooked perfectly.My partner had Halibut with a hazlenut crumb which again was delicious,recommend.

A last minute booking - what a delight. My first time there - the three staff serving were all a delight - chatty and friendly. Going above and beyond with a table of youngsters with their parents - bring them paper and crayons. The food - excellent. Not only really beautiful to look at (very Instagramable!) but tasted amazing. The bread and whipped butter was so moreish - and we had to ask how it was made. A can see why my wife been a couple of times with friends loves it so much. Will definitely be back again!

Couldn’t have had a better experience. I came to Inverness with a tour and chose the kitchen for my meal. Coming from miles to have a special meal in Inverness and was not disappointed. I haven’t one thing to fault and nothing could have been better. The food is 10/10 as is the service. I asked for a table with a view and was given just that. I was looked after, as I was on my own, and now have wonderful memories of my time here. The staff could not have done more. I couldn’t believe the price for the standard of food.

Kids menu very limited, 2 courses on main menu not available and we had to wait a long time between courses. Starters were delicious, mains were ok. Staff were absolutely lovely and very attentive.

Went for me birthday and the food rescued what was otherwise a dreary day

Our first time dining at The Kitchen. The welcome and service was excellent. Our server explained the menu to us displaying very good knowledge of the dishes. The food was incredible and we will certainly return. Only downside perhaps was our table was on top floor and there is no lift. Will know in future to ask for a table on ground or first floor.

Food was lovely, waiting staff were great but food coming was VERY slow
