The view was amazing, the wait staff was exceptional. The food was delicious.

Our first meal in Inverness has set the bar very high!! Our meals were absolutely exquisite with unexpected flavor combinations that were absolutely delicious. The wait staff was very personable and knowledgeable, add the beautiful views of the river Ness and it made for a perfect evening!

The food was great and the service was good. The only downside was we were seated next to the kitchen which was not terrible but the hostess decided to sort the silverware while we were dining and the noise was terrible. I am sure if we had asked her she would have stopped but we did not want to be the rude Americans. I am sure the view from the second floor was amazing and wish would have asked or waited for a table there.

Table right next to kitchen so a bit miffed at not getting river view table BUT loved it. Great buzz about the kitchen and great to watch the kitchen crew do their thing. Food was a knockout and the staff were great and just the right side of cheeky! Loved it. 10 out of 10

It was a beautiful meal and can’t fault the food. The beef was probably the best i have had out. Nice busy atmosphere and service very friendly. Only quibbles was that £40 for two courses is expensive so it can only be a treat for us as a couple. That’s before you have wine on top. Over £20 for a main is fine but for a starter or pudding ? Maybe a bit much. Also we were on the later end of evening due to our booking being 2030. We were hurried out of restaurant having to rush our wine as it was closing time. We went past rocpool and prime on the way back home and all guests were still chilling out, not being rushed to finish. It would have been a nice touch as we have just had a baby and wanted to a treat and to relax/chill. Lovely experience though.

Food was very good but the portion size was incredibly small therefore not reflecting the over inflated price. Great view of the River Ness

2 dishes not available due to meat supplier,nothing else on menu that suited one of party

On arrival advised we must order a minimum of 2 courses per adult. Mains took a while to come out (venison) mines look like the deers ankles. Told it’s based on weight per plate, if that’s the case the chefs scales must be off. Spent £213 and were advised we had 20 minutes left on the table without having our 2nd course and the main course taking 45 minutes to reach the table. Will definitely NOT be back!

El restaurante es precioso con unas vistas espectaculares, el personal encantador, la comida está muy rica, el inconveniente es que tuvimos que esperar demasiado y algunos platos llegaron fríos. Súper recomendable el tar tatin de manzana.

Von der Aussicht über den Fluss Ness über das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Restaurant bis hin zum äußerst herzlichen und freundlichen Personal waren wir bereits sehr angetan. Das System dass man entweder ein 2 oder 3 Gänge Menü auswählen muss hat uns nicht gestört. Wir haben uns an dem Abend für ein 2 Gänge Menü bestehend aus einer Vorspeise und einem Hauptgericht entschieden und sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Das Essen war der Hammer, wir hatten beide unterschiedliche Hauptgänge bestellt aber die Rinder Bäckchen waren unvergleichbar und sehr sehr sehr lecker. Aber auch hier, ohne Reservierung geht gar nichts. Wir würden das Restaurant wärmstens weiter empfehlen für jeden der eine Geschmacksexplosion erleben möchte. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Good food, less choice than when we visited last year and significantly more expensive. Staff attentive and engaged in conversation in a friendly manner.

The food is imaginative, fresh and beautifully plated. The balance of flavors superb. We had seafood dishes and in three different servings, all the fish was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was a joy, helpful and provided context to our orders. We I’ve in S.F. and are used to great food, the Kitchen met our expectations.

Firstly have to say how lovely the staff were, even though it was busy they were calm and really friendly. I’m vegetarian and at first glance wasn’t overly excited about the veg option (only one 🙁) but actually the gnocchi was really good. I don’t like nuts and it was no hassle to have these omitted from my dish. I’d love it if you had a few more veggie options on the menu but as I said I enjoyed the gnocchi. Excellent value for money and I’ll definitely be back soon.

Sehr sehr gut, von der Vorspeise (geräucherter Lachs) über die Hauptspeise (Wild und Special of the day sea trout) bis zum Dessert (Käsekuchen) einfach super delicious. Ich bin sehr kritisch, aber das Essen war echt ein Erlebnis für die Geschmacksknospen. Noch ein bisschen Knoblauch an den Brokkoli... :) Nein, sozusagen perfekt. Nicht ganz billig, aber lohnt sich! Service auch sehr nett und die Location mit Blick auf den Fluss toll gelegen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

What a gem of a restaurant. The food was great and the service absolutely amazing. I actually couldn’t fault it. Super polite and attentive but not overly so. Will definitely visit again.

The food was amazing. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. The service was good, but I felt like the wait staff was understaffed. They were frazzled at times between taking care of the customer coming in and those already seated. Overall, a good dining experience.

Very expensive dinner, not matched with the quantity of the food: my belly’s full not for the venison (of which they gave me two micro slices…) but only for the mashed potatoes! 100 £ in two really seems too much for this place. The food is good though, but I would have valued it at least 20£ less.
