The Lamb Inn

The bar and dining room was empty when we arrived. No-one was behind the bar. I had to go to the reception to ring a bell to summon a member of staff to get any kind of service. Only one draft beer was available. The food on the limited menu was "so so". The credit card reader did not work, so fortunately I had enough cash to meet the ill. The place felt soulless. Another couple came an went because they could not get service Considering its picturesque location, overall a massive disappointment. The management need to take a real grip.

We were staying here over the weekend and dined here on the Saturday. It was soooo good!!!! Really, really tasty food to the point that I’d have loved to have eaten it all again, I highly recommend! Mushrooms on brioche were a highlight…I’m making myself hungry, I want to go back now! They were really accommodating with our two dogs too! Thank you all so much!!

We stayed in the Jemima Suite at The Lamb Inn for 2 nights. Fabulous room. Excellent food

We had a extremely great meal. No faults at all. The bar area had more atmosphere than the restaurant though. Could have had a bit more music for ambiance.

You were very accommodating when we asked to eat outside. Lunch was lovely and staff were cheerful and kind. We'll definitely be back!

Although a bit pricey the food was excellent We went on a Wednesday which they advertise as "Steak ,night " Our table was booked for 7.15 and when we all ordered the steak special we were told they only had one lof the rump steaks left. Seemed a bit of a con to run out of steak so early . They offered sirloin which was much more expensive and said they would knock off a couple of pounds off. Having said that we felt a bit put off and felt we had been conned somewhat

Unfortunately they hadn't received the booking. But they were very good and fitted us in.

lovely food and service, our reservation had not filtered through to the pub however so we weren't able to sit in the restaurant which was a shame but we were accommodated in the bar area. we would return when in the area.

Lovely place for dinner or a drink! The food was delicious although slightly disappointed with the ‘seasonal vegetables’ of just steamed carrots, broccoli and peas I would have expected something slightly nicer for the price. The service was brilliant though and I would go back
