From reading previous reviews I was really disappointed with the food it bore no resemblance to the menu perhaps the standard slipped due to the fact that there was a large private party at the time. The evening was only saved by the excellent staffs dedication.

Very nice overall experience, from when we first got there, to when we left, friendly staff, i order the rump steak and was cooked just how i asked medium rare plan to go again maybe try the sunday roast next time😊

Definitely west broms hidden jewel. If you like nice surroundings, ambience, great food at reasonable prices, plus hand made cocktails, then this is a must place to go. Whether for a special occasion, or just a light lunch, the menu caters for all. Add the excellent service from the staff, makes it an enjoyable place to go.

Recommended to us by a friend so we cancelled a planned trip to Birmingham for Valentine's weekend to come here. The food was nice and the service was very good! Not a great choice of mains for the fussy ones amongst us but we enjoyed what we had.

Excellent service, food, atmosphere and value for money. Some small improvements and it would’ve been full marks. My chiabatta wasn’t served with my prawn starter and there was no port available to accompany the cheese board, otherwise perfect.

A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details looked pretty with all the heart balloons and candles for Valentines. Would highly recommend ☺

Amazing place to go for whatever reason. The staff were extremely polite and were attentive to your needs. Food was amazing, you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and was made with so much care. The relaxed ambience of the lounge was truly a place to be.

How do I put this? I think when running a restaurant its quite important to have food on hand. My son ordered 2 items and neither were available! Also it would improve the experience massively if more than 2 vegetarian options were on the menu. The restaurant was pretty empty but it took awhile for the items that were ordered to arrive. This should be addressed also. The look and feel of the place was good and top marks for cleanliness. The staff did try their best to address the issues mentioned above. Could be great when issues are addressed.

We found the food, drinks and restaurant all amazing. The view at night from our table was an added bonus. We are looking forward to our next visit 😀

me and my wife visited last sunday for the first time . the staff are very well smart and polite . we both had the mushroom starter followed by beef for our main the presentation of the food was very good . the food it self was top class from start to finish . also priced very well indeed the veg are all fresh with the york pudding being home made . we will be making it our local little place to eat from this week very good alround

Very enjoyable experience, not loads of choice on menu but would rather have quality than quantity, and the food was quality. Family friendly so felt very welcome. Atmosphere and decor really nice, and facilities clean. Charming staff, will come again.

Brilliant restaurant. Lovely surroundings and great service. We had Sunday lunch. Three courses for £17.95. Best roast I’ve had the vegetables and meat were perfect.

Sunday lunch had loin of pork , pork over cooked and dry, asked for apple sauce, they didn't have any, plate of vegetables served first, then had to wait, for main course,
