Short selection on menu. But should be something to suit all tastes. Reasonable price for 3 courses. Service good. Quality of food at a good level. Would visit again

Immediately made to feel very welcome. Food was delicious! Wife is still talking about the chocolate fondant! Staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was very cosy and intimate.

Was really looking forward to the lighthouse following some good recommendations but think we must have gone on a severely off day. The staters were really nice, both enjoyed them waiting for our main. We were both served what could only be described as a warmed up roast dinner, tough beef with microwaved roast potatoes, the trimmings were nice but anyone can cook carrot, swede and red cabbage. Gravy was delicious though. Desserts were ok but nothing to get overly excited over. Really disappointed overall given the recommendations we had been given, if you want something as nice for less than the price go to Spire.

Great food, lovely restaurant, great value. I would recommend the Salmon starter and the lamb. Both delicious. Also like the decor. Classy, cosy and intimate.

Excellent food busy restaurant have been before and will certainly be going back easy to book on line could possibly do with a woman in front to sort correct table settings ( no saucers with coffee , table spoons for desert) I think it has come under be management little things I know but did not spoil a very pleasant night a little improvement in front ( waiters with a uniform ) will work wonders in a already fab fine restaurant all the best you deserve it .

Food very good , limited choice , but something for all ,staff friendly but in need of training, women who took our order the only one who knew what to do and how to do it. Over all would go back but with reservations. I think they need to some how create a better atmosphere

The restaurant was closed with no explanation or contact. If there was a problem then we should have been contacted. It is a pity because we were looking forward to it having read the reviews

The food and hospitality was excellent, some confusion on arrival as the web booking was not confirmed to them. Will definitely go back with friends.

Food was delightful. It was well presented and very tasty. Service was very friendly and our waiter, I think his name was Nick was great. The only criticism I have is that the restaurant itself was on the cool side. There did not appear to be any heating. Otherwise, great and will certainly return.
