We were very well looked after this evening, thank you.

Stylish and cosy restaurant, had a fantastic meal here. Very tasty food, well presented and great value for money. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend this place more.

We had a great evening out with friends. Service was great and we enjoyed the 'separate' dining room. I do feel however that you perhaps need to look at the menu with your chef. It lacks sparkle and interest although perfectly cooked and served. The house wine was delicious. We shall come again and see if the menu has been reviewed.

Our second visit during our week staying in the local area, we'd be back again pretty soon if we were still in Scotland. Exceptional food, calm and relaxed atmosphere, lovely décor, attentive but not intrusive staff. We'll be back next time we're in Leith.

This was our 3rd visit to the Lodge, this time for my Mums birthday dinner. She loves their Fish & chips so this was her requested restaurant! Friendly staff and the food was lovely. Nice relaxed place to come with the family. :)

The second time we have eaten here and the food was stunning again I had the seafood pasta and can honestly say possibly the nicest sauce I’ve ever had hubby had t-bone and again was cooked To perfection great food friendly staff and reasonable prices definitely worth a visit

Had the haddock and chips and can honestly say that they were probably the best fish and chips i have ever had. So fresh and tasty and just seasoned right. My wife had the lamb cutlets and she complimented them too. Lovely first experience of The Lodge, will definitely be back.

I visited the lodge tonight with my family including 2 children. We all enjoyed our meals. The fish was lovely and really fresh. A nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The service was very good despite there only being 1 person serving. Good value for money.

Booked for dinner in Father’s Day. ‘Special limited Father’s Day menu’. Chefs had woefully underestimated demand so half of items had sold out. Service was also incredibly slow, waiting almost 1 hour for mains to arrive and then a further 40 minutes for dessert. What saved the experience was a superb waiter who was polite and accommodating along with the soundtrack! Overall I’m really disappointed:(

The food was simply fantastic, service very good. We are most definitely going back and will recommend The Lodge to friends. There was also a child menu, most important for families.

Good portions but fish had so much batter I removed it not much fish left, deserts £5-£6 For what u got portion size ,, not for me.. Great open fire on a cold night, staff pleasant will give it another go someday

The Lodge looked great when we arrived very inviting and open fires just what we needed on a cold night . Food was fantastic as was the wine and beer . I really enjoyed the Goats cheese and beetroot salad for starters and My husband Recommends the Prawns . The service was great nothing was to much and with the bants,coming from our table the young server was fun and knowledgeable with the menu . Thanks for a great night

staff and manager are very attentive food is excellent cosy atmosphere cannot fault the service or food or surroundings looking forward to going back tomorrow for brunch
