The Luxe Restaurant & Bar

The restaurant was closed when I arrived, having travelled fifteen miles and my guests had travelled twenty for a pre Christmas lunch. We ate in a nearby restaurant and the Luxe was still closed when we had eaten. Very unimpressed, will not book again.

We were there for over 20 minutes without even getting our pre-dinner drinks. With one exception (a young lady), the staff appeared to be totally disorganised. The restaurant seemed to be more interested in serving cocktails to scantily clad young women that looking after their diners. We decided to leave and explained why we were leaving. All in all, a total disaster and a huge disappointment.

The place was soulless with very few people in there. For a Saturday. Night this was surprising. It lacked atmosphere, the food was average, I didn’t like being able to see into the kitchen whilst the food was being prepared as the chefs didn’t look clean. I will now be retirning

First time visiting here and absolutely loved it, in fact have rebooked with some friends to go back.

They would have received the top, amazing emoji if they had the food I booked the table for! But saying that we both really enjoyed what we ordered, very tasty and high quality, and the service and venue are amazing.

Excellent value for freshly cooked meals. Very friendly staff and will go again and recommend to our friends.

Restaurant is foreclosed with legal notices in the windows. Disappointing they are still taking bookings and no contact or information to say they are temporary shut. Untrustworthy establishment.

It was closed down by the bailiffs due to non payment of bills but no one bothered to tell us so we turned up to a closed restuarant. Luckily Cote Brasserie was next door so we went there instead.

Food was mediocre at best, and when complaining about the quality and why we didn’t finish our pasta dishes for £26! they didn’t offer to take it off the bill only offered a free dessert! If the food is that bad why would we want to eat more of it?!

This place is beautiful, not just aesthetically pleasing but the customer service is perfect. Unfortunately I did not enjoy the lamb I ordered, but that could be due to my own tastes. I did let the waiter know and they were nice enough to offer us a drink on the house. But overall its 8/10 for me

Staff weee friendly. Food was good but the mashed potato was cold

Many of our starters were cold, or at least cool, rather than hot. Only 6 of the main courses arrived, the other three were nearly 10 minutes later so the first 6 had nearly finished. Two of us had the moussaka which was very much lacking in aubergines and had way too much topping. The service overall was very slow, though the young waitress who served us was very smiley and helpful. Very expensive for what we had, though it was a nice atmosphere and great surroundings.

Service and food excellent.We had the fillet steak which was delicious and from a local surrey farm. The owner was charming and showed us around the newly refurbished interior - amazing! Definitely recommend this place.

Too many tables so very impersonal. Food just average and not very Turkish/middle Eastern. Disappointing

Really nice food; courteous staff. The waiter didn't keep a close eye on our table, so I had to ask for extra cutlery after the starter.
