About The Lyndhurst

Reading’s The Lyndhurst serves incredible British cuisine and an array of fine ales. Hosting different events throughout the months, this restaurant is a fun spot for the entire community. The focus here is on seasonal food made with regional ingredients, so you can look forward to a variety of new dishes on the regular. Perfect for large groups and even private celebrations, The Lyndhurst is a must-visit for those who like delicious home cooking and tasty beer. We recommend the 8oz Butler steak served with watercress, truffle mayo, parmesan and fries, but there’s plenty more where that came from – book your table ahead of time to avoid disappointment at this restaurant on Queen’s Road, just moments from the Town Centre.

Speedy service but not rushed, lovely fun but not noisy atmosphere, friendly staff and table service, fantastic food and great drinks and fine selection of board games to enjoy after dining. Would absolutely recommend.

The team running the Lyndhurst have really nailed it - friendly, great food with a good range from nicely done burgers to more unusual dishes and reasonably priced, good range of ales and other interesting beverages (including some surprisingly tempting non-alcoholic cocktails). Delighted it's on our doorstep.

Really good food, nice and cool on a hot summers day, and a really good selection of drinks. Would definitely recommend a visit if ever you are in Reading.
